I think he is funny because he can't believe how stupid the US/Western leaders and their cheerleaders in academia and the media are. I think that is why he behaves that way and I agree with him in many ways. The extent to which these people are so far off-base and detached from reality cannot be overestimated. What is worse is that when you try to engage with them, it is like hitting your head on a concrete world. They are so used to being right and powerful that they are immune from learning anything new. I have a friend in the US and I have decided not to engage him further in discussing this war. It makes no sense. I can't understand how Taiwan can protect its military assets from less than 200 km.
