As an Arsenal fan - Chelsea are now undeniably the biggest club in London - i guess it was somewhat debateable before this year's champions league final, but them winning it cemented them as the biggest club in London - they may have less trophies overall but they have 2 champions leagues and the champions league is the biggest prize in club football which makes up for it - they also have 2 europa leagues and we have none of these. Also in the last 17 years, Chelsea have been way more successful and have been the most successful club in the country.

I’ve never understood the argument that “were the bigger club because we have more trophies”, congrats on the five titles you won back in the 30s but they aren’t as relevant as recent titles. Plain and simple. It’s the same principle as a business for example, a company could be the industry leader 50 years ago but it doesn’t always stay that way. Just because they were successful a long time ago doesn’t mean that they aren’t a much smaller company now and lost most of their market share. It’s like DT claiming Kodak is the biggest camera company now because of their early success. The history is there but they aren’t relevant anymore in today’s world, just like Arsenal.
