By now the human and Sans both are close from completing their journeys. Based on what happens here will forever not just the final fight but the entire future of the AU itself.

Lore
Dustdust Heartless Monsters:
At the end of the Dusttale route Sans is killed and the timeline is reset. After this Sans apparently remembers everything from the previous timeline and is distraught with everything. For him he believes he can't go back but can't win. This puts him in a depressive state where he repeats his actions and gains higher LV but loses most of his determination and all of his patience. Phantom Papyrus is supposed to mock Sans about his actions bringing back trauma of the last run meanwhile Phantom Toriel does the opposite and rationalizes all of Sans' actions. In the Dusttale timeline Sans' LV was at 14, now it's LV 20.

@@emerichcampo2697 There are actually 4 different judgement encounters. Each one leads to a different ending and depends on how well Sans handles his mental health and the human's success.

The reason it's a Dustdust take is because the events of Dusttale essential repeat. I didn't want to use the "then a glitch happened and he kept his LV" thing. Unfortunately Sans does not collect supplies really, but instead just improved from his last run.

why doesnt sans just push you into the lava
@@fakentgamer The human fought monsters in Hotland before. I think avoiding lava would already be in there skill set. Especially if there are fire and lava monsters. It would be interesting if it worked though.

sans can teleport, while the human is fighting some monster, sans would catch them off guard and push them into the lava, when they reset and load into the microwave save, or most other saves next to a ledge, there's just no escape, especially if sans blocks off their path with bones, and if the human tries to kick him or something, he would just teleport out of the way and try again
i don't think the human's skill set would involve rock climbing
wouldn't be a good ending for the player tho
...could you make that the betrayal kill for if you try to spare sans?
@@fakentgamer Fair enough. But let's be honest Sans probably could of does this before and the human could just fully reset the timeline and try again. The fact of the matter is the human always has another choice or way to play the game even from scratch.
