It was Chinese Communist Party, not China, supported Khmer Rouge. Just like Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot cannot represent Cambodia, Chinese Communist Party and Mao Zedong cannot represent China. Indeed, Chinese people have experienced the same thing as Cambodian people had, which was even longer. Both Cambodia and China are the victims of communism regime.
