Agreed she felt awkward telling her friend about feelings for Junaid but she could have confessed about his proposal. And even if not that she lied about the pendant saying her sister gave it to her. That was really bad. It was jhoot bolna. In one of the scenes, she herself asked Maliha - kya kuch Aisa bhi hai jo tum mere bina discuss karna chahti ho. So why couldn’t she speak about what’s going on between her and Junaid. At least she could have asked Junaid to tell his sister that it’s not possible for her to lie to her best friend. And yes what Maliha did was extreme. Although it was a reaction to Zara’s action, it was bad.
