NAZARÉ, THE TOWN THAT OWNS THE BIGGEST WAVES IN THE WORLD - HUGE WAVES AT "THE WAVE OF THE DAY"

The journey is coming to an end. After visiting some of the most important surfing regions in Portugal, we will make one last stop. The giant waves of Nazaré will mark the end of the first season of the series “A Onda do Dia”. In which, with Mobilidade Elétrica and MCoutinho, we put the evolution of electric vehicles to the test, and discovered that they are an excellent alternative for surfers.
Nazaré is, and has always been, known for its powerful waves, and the rough sea, nowadays, provides records for the most daring surfers, but in the past, it was fishermen, men who between courage and the desire to provide a better life for family, who faced the power of the waves of Nazaré.
We went to discover the land that was once a simple fishing village, and which is currently one of the best-known tourist destinations in the world, all due to the biggest waves in the world.
