Chocolate Date Turtles:

make healthy but awesome tasting Turtles this holiday season using Medjool dates instead of carmel. put wax paper or parchment paper on a baking sheet set aside. remove the pis from the date, add 1 tsp or so of organic peanut butter to where the pit was. top the peanut butter with a pecan half. gently push down, melt some chocolate in a microwave or on the stove, when chocolate is runny spoon it over the turtle, kind of sealing it all together. top with some coarse sea salt. Set tray of Turtles in freezer to chill. Package them and label them off limits because they are that good. Excellent replacement for Turtles made with carmel.
