I can see what they were going for with the creepy dude. Have a mascot that's made of the Ice Cream to say that it's so good he eats himself, but why is it not just an animated character? It would have been a lot less horrifying if it were a snowman made of ice cream or something like that.

Fun fact, the Batgirl PSA featuring Robin and Batman? It's not Adam West portraying Batman. It's the late actor Dick Gauitier staring in roles like Hymie from the Get Smart TV series and voice roles such as the animated Transformers and GI Joe series.

The creator of the commercial said he saw ice cream as a canvas, and can only be given a good commercial based on the deepest corners of the imagination. I'm glad he saw his product as a canvas and decided to take an artistic approach. I just wish he didn't have such an active imagination.

jp3813 I don't think so. He _did_ end the first one with a musical number where he rose out of his slump and truly became the Nostalgia Critic again. It would make more sense if he tried to retire the character _before_ the first Commercials episode.

you know the batman one was odd because she never worked for them on the 60's show. she worked solo and occasionally teamed up with them. i think the ad was from the 70's and adam west didn't play batman in it.. so that's why he sounds different.

Little Babies Ice Cream? Based on what I know about it, it seems like the creator was given complete creative freedom, and that inspired him to delve into the deepest corner of his imagination. Sometimes it's a great idea, sometimes it's a grave mistake.
In this case, it was a grave mistake. But a memorable one.
The reason the Game Boy sold better than the Game Gear and Atari Lynx is because Sega and Atari misunderstood the market. They poured their money into the system's graphics and backlight. Both were impressive but sapped a shit-ton of battery life. The Lynx took 8 batteries and a later model took 6 along with the Game Gear and lasted roughly 2 hours. The Game Boy's battery life lasted between 10 to 30 hours. Not to mention the expansive library
