Chris is my favorite comedian by far. So underrated. Wish he was on more podcasts.
So underrated.. although I'm sure he's probably doing just fine lol

Never miss him. Always a solid effort and he's earned the acceptance of the crowd, as has Papa, so its a good night throughout. Great advice for the up and comers there. I saw a show where the Feature before Chris absolutely bombed. I mean painful to watch bombed. As he sulked off the stage, with the emcee trying to do damage control, Porter took the guy aside and just told him, shit happens man - keep plugging. I'm sure there was much more advice when he finished his set. Despite the audience being in a shit mood Porter flipped them around with two solid bits and then it was back to the setlist that killed. Really a Master Class in working a room. Jump to a year or so later in Scottsdale and its new Improv where Porter had to work with a live band blaring out of the music venue next door (paper thin walls - shopping mall parititions). Rather than ignoring the crappy setup of the place he improvised with it. To be clear the audience was equally pissed. But still a solid night.

My all time favorite comedian. The only comedian I’ll ever watch. Ever. I miss his Gene Wilder hair though.

First time actually hearing of Mr.Porter.
…….. so when the name Kid Rock came on….. automatic side eye!
But I think I know you Mr. Papa so I just…….. took a deep breath and
just listened.
You asked the right questions and he explained……. In his line of work,
If you blow off everything with a pulse that seems irrational ….who’s left???
Anyway …. that’s food for thought.
At the end of the interview, I see he’s an extremely funny guy…. with a huge human side.
I appreciated you taking the lead in tolerance and patience in these times.
It reminded me of why I love your show sir……….. funny absolutely

Just some side Notes/ Contributions; Chris? - your Men-Crying Joke Riffs: “. .. This guy goes once a year to the Cemetery to lay Flowers on his Parents Grave site. When walking out thru the other Headstones, he sees this Guy on his Knees CRYING in front of a Headstone. Thinking the guy might need some Comfort & Support, he goes over to him. The guy is Crying , saying ‘WHY’D You Fo It?!!… WHY’D You Do It?!!.. Crying …’. So he goes over to this guy and asks, ‘… it’s Okay there Pal… we All go back to Dust eventually..’! The Crying man only continues Moaning & in Anguish.. WHY DID YOU DO IT??!!… in front of the Grave. So this Compassionate Guy asked him, “.. I’m Sorry Buddy.. was he a War Buddy who got Killed??.. a Close Family Sibling that died too early in Life???..”. “ NO..( said the bereaved. Man) … he’s my WIFE’S FIRST HUSBAND!!..” 🥁😮😅! God Bless.
