Susan has been an activist for decades but some people try to paint her as someone who just recently jumped on the bandwagon..
why cant more actors be more like susan. regardless of her political stance, she is logical, reasonable, rational, smart, objective and open-minded. she doesnt try to talk down on us as if she is better than us just cause she is a successful actor. you cant help but to listen to her reasoning. much props to her regardless of being part of a political party. wrong is wrong and right is right.

I took my money out of one of the big banks that helped cause the 2008 crash. Switched it to a regional credit union. Buying a new home and using a regional bank. Everyone do this!

He was in South Africa in the 70's - 80's.. He saw much worse from what I have been told.. Keep in mind he can't see very well, so dudes shooting at other dudes may just remind him of what he saw.
I was told a story by his sister. A colored person was tied upside down from a tree and beaten by cops. He had been accused of stealing. Apparently my aunt ( his sister ) , knew the dude getting beaten and knew he wasn't a thief. I guess they killed him. When my aunt told this story she basically broke down, and had to leave the room. It was very sad, and it was probably the first time I understood how violence can effect even those who witness it.
They have lived in Canada for like 25 years or more now, but still, they get really frightened when they see police.

It seems obvious that a condition for Sarandon coming on TYT was that she not use this as a platform to bash Hillary and promote Jill Stein. You can see her pause and close her eyes in almost-literal pain every time she gets to a point in the conversation where she would normally attack Hillary.

Sarandon said something I have been thinking for a while but have found hard to express. I see and hear incredulity and outrage all the time (she did some here, putting her hands to her face.) People say, "I can't believe or understand how they can do this or get away with that" etc. Yes, you do. Money - always back to money. Money is in control and money does not care. Controls politicians, governments, corporations - and you. Your anger, disbelief and outrage don't mean jack. Be mad all you want - doesn't matter - you don't have power. Unless you unite in massive numbers. Don't get mad, get action.

It was maybe shot before the show. But you are right. I was so into the interview, that I forgot about it.
The dog was the ONLY reason I clicked the video. I haven't seen it yet so I'm leaving to watch something else.
Better yet a law should be passed that when the pipeline breaks, the banks and investors will be 100% responsible for funding the cleanup operations. There'll be no federal or FEMA money involved at all, any profits they made will have to be forfeited to the cleanup. Then we'll see just how willing they are to push this pipeline through.
***** They could afford it but that doesn't necessarily mean they would want to. It's put up or shut up, if they're so confident that this pipeline will never ever break (otherwise why change the original route that had it running near the state capital) then they should be willing to 100% fund any clean up efforts AND reimburse the people living along the pipes route, and not just pay some measly $100K fine to the US.
The clean ups are sloppy and don't do shit.
Thankfully, Amnesty International Observers finally did come take a look and now condemn the DAPL officers for how they've violated human rights. Also, the U.N sent observers, who ALSO have requested that the U.S HALT this destruction.

Switch to a credit union! They are owned by their members NOT by stockholders! They give back to the local community and most are nonprofit. Anyone that believes income equity is important should NOT use a bank!
