The first three albums is the sound I enjoyed, the new ones are just not to my taste. But I am happy to see my favourite childhood band having a successful and long career! Not all pre-puzzle fan boys are knobs! Mon the fucking Biff!
Rolo Tomassi is possibly the best band I've ever seen live. Honestly. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I'm not even into their music but they're so talented musically, it has to be said. When they combined with Biffy, this video BLEW MY MIND! :D
@sebrussell The collaboration was a good song to pick, as their screaming part would fit into a Rolo Tomassi song. Saying that, typically Rolo Tomassi don't concentrate on the screaming, but more on rhythms and complex instrument lines. The girl's also got a great clean voice.
Shit crowd. two awesome bands, saw Rolo Tomassi at Reading this year, epic... And like most people with brains have stated, old Biffy WAS the best Biffy.
That crowd looks bored shitless, i went to see biffy in Blackpool recently and when they played There's No Such Thing As A Jaggy snake (Ft Rolo Tomassi) i went fucking mental... it was so good to hear it live again... last time i heard it live was 4 years ago.... it was AMAZING!!!
@Fridayplaylist haha yeah theyre playing here at a festival in april and ill most likely see them again because they are the best live band i've ever seen and that is no exaggeration.
@BiffyClyroRock1 i second this, i travelled to blackpool from glasgow and thought it was fuckin great when rolo tomassi came on for jaggy snake, fuckin great gig!!
@Fridayplaylist They played a gig for about 150 people in september.... hahaha but this time it was about 600 i think?? so not very big, but the show was still awesome. i was standing 20 or so feet away from simon. everyone knew all of the words and it was just like a big/fucking awesome family singing together. most americans have no idea who they are really but i like it this way cause the concerts are nice and intimate.
@PabbersKen I have to confess I found Biffy from Only Revelations when the were support acts in a muse concert back in 09 but you gotta start somewhere.
They Missed most of the song!!! Its amazing as well! Gotta hate these new biffy fans, especially the ones who think there's nothing more to biffy than only revolutions and puzzle.
Aw, what a sweet family affair. With the twins from Biffy and Rolo's brother and sister combo (Eva and James Spence) screaming their lungs out. They look like they're screaming anyway, saw Rolo Tomassi play last night and currently the hearing's not doing so good
i was appaled to see tht people didnt like/give a damn about jaggy snake when most of the people there have know them for 5 mins lol this is actually the real biffy clyro :P and also im appaled tht channel 4 cut most of the song :S wht is the music industry coming to???
@robinshute well said. Personally i'm enjoying their evolution, but still like their old stuff better and i hope one day they will go back to it just to shake off these fickle, bandwagon jumping "fans".
Things i hated about this video: 1. The Idiots that have just found Biffy from Puzzle onwards. 2. Edith Bowman mispronouncing Homme. 3. Channel 4 editting the interview and the second song. What I Love: 1. The screaming making everyone that doesn't know anything about music take the biggest shit they have ever taken unexpectedly.
How much have they cut out of ...Jaggy Snake?! Deary me, that's classic Biffy! I saw it live last November, which was insane :) but they cut like half of it out :| Tomassi are fab too though, Eva Spence is dead sexy ;D
does anyone know the name of the left handed singer who seems to always be with them when they play live? i don't see the needs for him, they did fine without him after the first 4 albums
@PabbersKen So the worthiness of a fan is denoted by the point at which they found the band? Just because the first Biffy song I heard was "Living is a Problem" doesn't mean I'm less worthy, stop being so shallow. Oh, and for the record, my favourite Biffy song is 57, off of their first album. Deal with it.
biffies 1st 2 albums were amazing, and it annoys me when no one listens when some quite frankly better music comes on, because its not like the new stuff
So you went straight to The Beatles first album? or The Stones? or anyone who is older than you? Shock horror I first heard Mountains, and liked Only Revolutions! Now I like Blackened Sky B-sides and Missing Pieces. Or am I not allowed to like a band I don't hear of until it's too late in your oh so worthy opinion! dooche!
I'm sorry but it's hard to rock out and head bang on stage when you don't have and instrument (guitar&drums) MON THE BIFFY!!! But not Mon the other people
@anarcy7777u 1st 3 i reckon, but yeah i completely agree, i was at leeds this weekend and i was the only one singing/goin mental when they played jaggy snake compared to the people around me, then when mediocre songs like god and satan or born on a horse come on theyre like wooo yeahh, fuckin annoys me lol
The screaming is really weird to me, because I didn't know Rolo Tomassi, and they both look so little and cute and, well, teenaged. Call me prejudiced, but I expect screamers and growlers, or whatever, to look mental. Hell, even the chick from Arch Enemy looks like she's rip your throat out if you looked at her wrong.
Whats up with this Tomassi hate? theyre a great band and to be honest both Eva and James can both scream better then Simon :/ Still mon the fucking biff!
The first three albums is the sound I enjoyed, the new ones are just not to my taste. But I am happy to see my favourite childhood band having a successful and long career! Not all pre-puzzle fan boys are knobs! Mon the fucking Biff!

I love Simon Neil, he's so talanted and an inspiration! Biffy Clyro, in my eyes, are the best band ever! ;P
I love the person who uploaded this!
i love rolo tomassi so much
seen them 6 times in 2010
I Love how there is like 2 people enjoying the second song. Idiots for being there if they don't like all Biffy.
Mike Vennart and Eva Spence on the same stage, guys we've reached the pinnacle of music.
Vort3x Mike Vennart wasn't there, was he?
Simon Dowling far right of stage
Vort3x Aye but he wasn't on stage during Jaggy. Just Bubbles
My reaction exactly, would love to see it more often
Best FT...EVER
@sebrussell The collaboration was a good song to pick, as their screaming part would fit into a Rolo Tomassi song. Saying that, typically Rolo Tomassi don't concentrate on the screaming, but more on rhythms and complex instrument lines. The girl's also got a great clean voice.
jaggy snake. what a song. the crowd look terrified which is a shame. this is true biffy. mon the biff.
One does not simply cut the best part of Jaggy Snake. :/
OMFG! They are actually wearing shirts! :O
Shit crowd. two awesome bands, saw Rolo Tomassi at Reading this year, epic...
And like most people with brains have stated, old Biffy WAS the best Biffy.
saw them last night in new york and they played jaggy snake last night
everyone went MENTAL
@PolaroidPerks that's very true :) They gave me whiplash at the blackpool gig, it was that AWESOME :D
ROLO TOMASSI
ha ha look at the stunned crowd
nothing like the crowd at the portsmouth gig!
@MrJennion agreed, i like some of there madder days, only revs puzzle are great but older stuff is great too, good to find someone open minded too
@Fridayplaylist haha yeah theyre playing here at a festival in april and ill most likely see them again because they are the best live band i've ever seen and that is no exaggeration.
My thoughts exactly.
@BiffyClyroRock1 i second this, i travelled to blackpool from glasgow and thought it was fuckin great when rolo tomassi came on for jaggy snake, fuckin great gig!!
I've never seen a better ending to bubbles...
Hate how they missed out chunks of the songs
Mike Vennart just in the place he has to be!
@Fridayplaylist They played a gig for about 150 people in september.... hahaha
but this time it was about 600 i think?? so not very big, but the show was still awesome. i was standing 20 or so feet away from simon. everyone knew all of the words and it was just like a big/fucking awesome family singing together. most americans have no idea who they are really but i like it this way cause the concerts are nice and intimate.
Skip directly to Jaggy Snake ==> 5:56
@PabbersKen I have to confess I found Biffy from Only Revelations when the were support acts in a muse concert back in 09 but you gotta start somewhere.
what's with the gap at 7:16
They Missed most of the song!!! Its amazing as well! Gotta hate these new biffy fans, especially the ones who think there's nothing more to biffy than only revolutions and puzzle.
How the hell can everyone in the audience stand so still during jaggy snake? WTF!
the crowd is so still...
Aw, what a sweet family affair. With the twins from Biffy and Rolo's brother and sister combo (Eva and James Spence) screaming their lungs out.
They look like they're screaming anyway, saw Rolo Tomassi play last night and currently the hearing's not doing so good
I love biffy. I love jaggy snake. I like simons screaming and rolo tomassis screaming. Thats me
@Lennonpie07 yeah i hope it does too!
ABOUT THEIR WHAT GOD DAMMIT?!
I actually love jaggy snake, because it's different to their newer songs. I wonder if Matt Cardle could sing that.
i was appaled to see tht people didnt like/give a damn about jaggy snake when most of the people there have know them for 5 mins lol this is actually the real biffy clyro :P and also im appaled tht channel 4 cut most of the song :S wht is the music industry coming to???
on Josh Homme, "how did you manage to (bang) bag him?" lol.
@PabbersKen I also love that nobody seems to have any clue how to dance to 7/8.
@robinshute well said. Personally i'm enjoying their evolution, but still like their old stuff better and i hope one day they will go back to it just to shake off these fickle, bandwagon jumping "fans".
@ItsJustStevoo LOL!
Not afraid to sell out more like.
@mattybungo They really, really do.
@MickyKelly91 Yep! :) In live videos of Biffy these days, just look for the guy who's not topless :P
Things i hated about this video:
1. The Idiots that have just found Biffy from Puzzle onwards.
2. Edith Bowman mispronouncing Homme.
3. Channel 4 editting the interview and the second song.
What I Love:
1. The screaming making everyone that doesn't know anything about music take the biggest shit they have ever taken unexpectedly.
Aha Simon's Moon Walk =)
How much have they cut out of ...Jaggy Snake?!
Deary me, that's classic Biffy!
I saw it live last November, which was insane :)
but they cut like half of it out :|
Tomassi are fab too though, Eva Spence is dead sexy ;D
Rolo Tomassi need to grow up.
demonic guys.sweet shirts.
does anyone know the name of the left handed singer who seems to always be with them when they play live?
i don't see the needs for him, they did fine without him after the first 4 albums
@PabbersKen what about people that first heard them because of puzzle, but then realised they have much better albums.
biffies 1st 2 albums were amazing, and it annoys me when no one listens when some quite frankly better music comes on, because its not like the new stuff
@MrHudson1988 Snap, well said. Long off music snobs.
what happened to "Take on the world..." ?! :(
they have shirts on??
@flybutshy i think its because its a biffy track and SImons not screaming. Personally i dont mind but there are ALOT of simple minded people out there
So you went straight to The Beatles first album? or The Stones? or anyone who is older than you?
Shock horror I first heard Mountains, and liked Only Revolutions! Now I like Blackened Sky B-sides and Missing Pieces.
Or am I not allowed to like a band I don't hear of until it's too late in your oh so worthy opinion!
dooche!
Nonono, the comment section is for good and bad comments though.
@kABLEEEE Nah. They did a good job.
i want to marry eva spence
@mattybungoi was at hammersmith as well its wos gr8, didnt like the supports that much though
Why did they cut out parts from jaggy snake anyway, btw? Just because Channel 4 probably still think Hannah Montana is great.
@jimbo222000
Not about the music ANYMORE? It hasn't been about the music for the last 40 years.
@flacidReece but there scottish
Lol when she went Josh Hom instead of josh Homme
Rolo Tomassi just ruin Jaggy Snake
what's with the other guys. Only Simon can scream the right waY.
What the fuck happened to half of Jaggy Snake?
Rolo Tomassi is AWESOME! But this was not really their best performance!
there all wearing shirts? new biffy is too tame now :(
eva just kicks his ass in terms of the screaming hahaha
Simon does the better scream
wasted on them why the fuck cut it
The screaming is really weird to me, because I didn't know Rolo Tomassi, and they both look so little and cute and, well, teenaged. Call me prejudiced, but I expect screamers and growlers, or whatever, to look mental. Hell, even the chick from Arch Enemy looks like she's rip your throat out if you looked at her wrong.
@robinshute the real biffy cylro? lol....if its biffy clyro then its biffy clyro..so i dont realy see where ur comin from
Skip directly to Jaggy Snake ==> 5:56 Oh no, there's two gays on the scene... :(
they should at least know the song before ruining the vocals for it.
Like Biffy? Give us a try!
czcams.com/video/U1AcrB5CbX0/video.html
Whats up with this Tomassi hate? theyre a great band and to be honest both Eva and James can both scream better then Simon :/
Still mon the fucking biff!
OK, the screamers didn't know the song and it was cut in half... this kinda sucks...
Scene kid alert, and judging by the anger at 'mispronouncing' racist too...
Whoever edited Jaggy Snake can go to hell. Also, who are these two screaming and jumping clowns
gingers are terrible... but give them an irish accent and somehow it works.
rolo tomassi are the worst band ive seen live
