Nightshade's notes: And here we are at the end! I hope you enjoyed this story of growth. I believe I've said it before, but one reason I chose this series is because I like to believe that people can change. This doesn't mean I think that we can change others -- I don't view this as a case of the heir pushing the Sorceress to be different, but rather one where the Sorceress herself was open enough to see her own mistakes, and ultimately make choices that were selfless, that benefitted only the person she loved.
Still, in real life, I would never recommend someone stay with a partner who treats them badly, who hurts them, as she does at the start. Because you cannot change other people. The only person you can change is yourself. The only person whose behavior you can control is yours. That sounds depressing, at first, until you realize -- you do have control over yourself, and that is HUGE. Much more important than you think. Only you can choose what you are going to do, how you are going to act and react. And your choices can be whatever you want.
So, I would hope that this sorceress can stand as an example of someone who had the power to change her own life, for those who want to do the same. But I would not want anyone to believe that they need to act as the royal in this story does, waiting for the harmful person to change. If someone in your life has hurt you, even if you do see them trying to improve, you have 100% control over whether you forgive them or not. You are NOT required to. You can and should make the choice that is best for you. Seriously, make the choice that is best for you. You deserve it, and you're the only one who can make your choices.
Thank you once again for being here with me, my dear royal court and royal knights. I hope you could take something positive from this.

WritSavvy I appreciate your story very much as I am a sucker for age gap stories. Thank you for the memorable performance Nightshade - and the notes in the description. I hoped for one more episode of the two as an established relationship, but is there ever a limit to human desire? ^_~

I think a nice follow to end this series would be to have a royal wedding with her becoming the new queen to create a better world for magic users.

Amazing! This is the most gripping RP story I have listened yet. Every aspect of it, the ever changing expressions of the sorceress, the backgrounds, the sound effects, the voice acting, the script itself..are all so well done, all these aspects came together to make this amazingly beautiful story! Queen, you have far exceeded all expectations with this one, in my humble opinion! This is probably your best series so far! I think this is the end for this one but I just want it to continue for a bit longer, see the sorceress a bit more! I can imagine the amount of hard work you put into this series, thank you so much for putting in so much effort for us! Take care of yourself ❤️

I don't know nightshade if you remember the original Terminator movie but as I sit here and watch this rather romantic scene between you and the listener it makes me think of the Terminator theme played passionately in that one scene as Sarah and Kyle are you know getting intimate
I'm happy that it ends well, kinda sad that such a fantastic series has to end though

This was the series that I first discovered your channel from, so it's a little bitter sweet to see it come to an end. But it has a very beautiful hopeful ending. I understand your reservations about the heir maybe not being the smartest and waiting around for the sorceress to change, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with indulging in a more romantic idea lol
Oh absolutely! And the message I want to put across isn't that the heir made the wrong choice, because in this particular case, I do think it was probably the right one. It's just that I think that, if you or anyone is ever in a situation like it, they should make the choice they feel is best for them, whether that be to stay or leave. I can't decide that for anybody, but I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm putting out a message that says you always HAVE to forgive someone, you know?
But that said, if I wasn't kind of a sucker for romance and redemption stories, I wouldn't have been making these, you know? I do enjoy setting aside real world concerns and just indulging in the romance. ❤️

And I completely agree with both sentiments. But it's probably for the best to mention things like that if people were getting the wrong idea about the relationship between the dark sorceress and the heir. I personally didn't get that vibe, even despite her selfish and hurtful motivations st the start.
A wise man once said that the only thing worth writing about is the human heart in conflict with itself. And I agree that it's certainly true with the most impactful of stories, but I feel like this was the perfect example of that kind of conflict executed beautifully~
At this point i'm just excited whenever I see your name, but this was some serious closure. I literally just listened to the other 6 again yesterday. What a saga, great work.
Normally I would watch all the way through first, but I have to say I love what you’ve written in the description, Nightshade. I couldn’t agree more with what you wrote, as there are some people who deserve another chance, but that shouldn’t come at your own expense, and you should always make the best decisions for yourself, because, at the end of the day, you’re no good to the person who truly deserves you when you’ve been thoroughly ruined by someone who doesn’t.

Oh, I always have plans. Like this one, in what way? One of my favorite authors literally just posted a new dark sorceress script today, though it's got a slightly different vibe. But sad, powerful, monstrous-but-don't-want-to-be characters are my bread and butter. What in particular stood out about this series that you'd like to see again?

As of right now, I am yet to imagine a better reunion. The heir and their older, more mature sorceress of a future queen are going to heal the deep wounds that the previous king had inflicted upon the world for multiple decades. After that, I would focus on agricultural innovations, engineering innovations, and incentivised vegetarianism, but that is a very, very different discussion.
As always, you have managed to match your own higher-than-most standards, and you have therefore impressed me once again. If I had the opportunity to pick your brain (so to speak) in a Discord call, I would most likely take it with great enthusiasm and excitement. I might even get a bit giddy at first.
