- I used half a sheet of 3/4 plywood to create this table saw lathe. I will be mostly using it to round out stock and create spindles. It can be used as a tenoner and dowel maker as well. I have a free set of plans available on my website (link below).

Excellent, thank you. If I could do wood I'd build all of your builds (maybe in my next life). Keep up the great videos.
Enjoyable video. Thanks for posting.
With a round handle and a square end, you're most the way to making a handle for a wooden mallet.
Nice video, thank.
Outstanding tool and once again free plans, thanks.
Brilliant work, dude! Really well done! 😃
I'm definitely going to build it!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Very nice, much better jig then others.
I do miss your usual brand of comedy in this video
Excellent Smithers
Really cool and helpful!!! Thanks a million!!
Awesome table saw lathe! :-)
So cool, I have a sled for building guitars, using the clamps 9n side idea, to lock mine. I built a one piece bass on my sled. Thanks for inspiration as always.
I suspect it needs less sanding because the blade is cutting with the grain essentially? Very nicely done.....and a love that table saw, glad it's being used to it's full potential on your channel.
"this won't go anywhere..." Said every driver after straping down anything...that has fallen at the first bigger maneuver ....other than that! Keeep up the good work!
Well done! I particularly like the quick lock of the headstock. As I commented a while back, on a similar table saw lathe build, with some modification you can make the tailstock movable to the side, to make tapered turning (good for legs, etc.).
I need to make this and have it so about 6' lengths. SHould scale up I would think?
What are those!!!
Oh, just safety sandals, never mind!😂😂😂
Blood type, IB + I be positive I ain't telling you my blood type :p. Great design, I appreciate the work you do and show us.
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
B+ Simple and effective project but how do you keep on going anyway just do it many thanks
A+ that’s not my blood type, but it’s the score for this vid. Love your stuff man.
thats just brilliant....🍻+1subscriber
"Now that won't go anywhere" then it moves when you test it lol. I'm sure it was just the cushions setting in place or that the movement was more visible at the 1.5 speed I watch at.
Very Impressive! How about a jig for precisely drilling 20mm dog holes 96mm on center. I cannot justify the price of the Parfit Jig or Woodpeckers jig .
For anyone who wants it, a small adjustment to this design would allow for tapering pieces, eg. for chair legs. See watch?v=yIZMZ7XJis0 at 09:13.
What's the max length of stock you can put in the lathe?
How ever long you make it. 8' or 9'
What about tapers?
Blood type A positive, gender male, senior with attitude. Could you please show us, those of us who don't have a table saw, how to do that with a circular saw? I only have a small storage shed I can work in. Thanks, love the lathe, keep up the good work.
B+
Can I ask a dumb question?
dumber required lol
2mm in and I saw this dangerous
Your poor drill
The beauty of Ryobi. Cheap to replace.
@@wadeb.5509 where I live theyre not even that cheap
@@smashyrashy Buy a battery...get a free drill. All kidding aside, ain't nothing cheap anywhere brother.
@@wadeb.5509 'round here, every 2-3 months or so, someone's selling drills that are at least "good" condition for $20-$30. Right now I can see five for $40 or less, one still in the box, one still in plastic.
I prefer any corded drill to any battery powered drill on this.
my credit card is

Lol !
Great vid! How are liking the Saw Stop? Type O- btw.
