"They sing like they can quiet a lion down" was so unexpected and such a perfect description of their talent.
I stand by my belief that AURORA is the greatest artist in the world today. If she was American she would have a hundred Grammy's.
AURORA is from norway and 27 soon 28 years old, and she is not just a AMAZING out of this world good singer she is also an amazing human being with good values, she is unique and has so much passion in everything she does.
She is different from other artists. When she makes music she has something to say or tell us, her songs are never meaningless . Many artists sings about being out all night and fucking ect.
But her biggest passion and inspiration is mother nature. She does what she can for our planet earth and she has let her fans be a part of it, which I think is amazing. Her songs will always take up importan subjects. Many songs is about the mother earth.. you just have to know more about her story... well she grew up on a very little place in Norway far far away from the city and the quiet was loud. She was out in the woods all the time when she was little so much that her parents used a cowbell to call her in to dinner. She loooves the nature and is really passion about it and the human soul.. that we are to much ashamed to be us, be human... show emotions and being yourselves thats why she used the greek gods as her inspiration in the newest album from 2022 (the gods we can touch) because they were so open and had no shame.Her songs about the clima crisis creats sympathy and love for our planet even for the once that dosnt have the same level passion as her. Her music also gives us hope, love and makes us feel importan She also takes action in what she preach about, everytime we buy something of her brand she plants a tree in south America. I have now planted 2 trees and It makes me feel good 💓
I recommend you to see her cop26 concert in that way you can see her speak about her passion and interact with the crowd. I think Aurora is the most authentic person you will ever see in the music industry. She is magic and such a big rolemodel. she have no shame, so free and so artistic. you have to check out more live performances that's a bit longer, you can really see art being created in other performances thats longer her voice is always angelic live and the music just take over her body and she become the music she is on a different planet and at the same time have the biggest stage presence ever, it is very interesting to watch! So I recommend you to see something live only by her and a bit longer...some people think she is to weired but i think she is awesome❤

Yea. Aurora is amazing and natural Artist from Norway. She started to write music when was 6 and add English lyrics (not her first language) from 9. She learned to play piano (and in less extend some other instrument later), write music and sing all by herself as a child. She wrote some of her songs from first album in very young age (like fe. Runaway when was 11, Lucky and i went too far when was 9 etc). Very talented and expressive artist. She has great song after another great song and in my opinion you can find a lot of variation in her music :). Pomme is also cool artist. Maybe I am not so much into her music (for sure not like into Aurora) but listened to some songs and liked it and for sure she is also interesting artist :). Thx for a reaction.

Aurora has, deservely, a huge fan base ww so I let them give more details on this amazing artist. I just focused on Pomme because her fame is more confined to french speaking countries.
Let me introduce you to Pomme.
Her real name is Claire Pommet and her stage name is Pomme which means Apple in french.
She will be soon 27 yo, from Lyon in France, and is multi-talented :
- amazing voice: she often exposes her beautiful lower range but there are songs where she exposes amazing upper range : check her duet with Aurora where she harmonizes on top of Aurora in the second chorus ,
- great instrumentalist: she plays guitar, autoharp, piano, cello, vocoder, banjo, synthetizer, …),
- she composes and writes almost all of her songs.
- She is also an actress (lead role in an upcoming movie) and
- She is a writer ( she wrote a book for the youth titled "Sous les paupières").
She erupted on the french musical scene about 9 years ago, with some covers and duets on YT, when she was 18 yo .
Then late 2017 she had her first stage performance in Paris and she released her first Album "A peu près".
She wrote 2 songs on this first album.
But since then, she has composed/written ALL songs from their next 2 albums: the second album "Les Failles", released in 2019 and the 3rd called "Consolation" released in august 2022.
She is famous in France: she has won the Best Newcomer Album award in Les Victoires de la musique 2020 (France music award ceremony) and she has won the Best Female Artist award in the 2021 edition.
She starts to be recognized on the international scene as well:
- Aurora is a fan of her (Pomme also is a fan of Aurora since 2015) and Pomme was the first featuring on an Aurora album (wonderful duet called "Everything matters" czcams.com/video/yX8bYwl9rKc/video.html ) , they started a nice friendship, we can expect some additional collab in the future.
- Billie Eilish also stated she is a fan and subscribed to Pomme’s channel: she probably has discovered Pomme thru her cover of Bad Guy and Billie, when she was on french radio, talked about Pomme and asked Pomme to text her so they can get in touch. Later Pomme said they did. Again Pomme is a fan of Billie and made this very beautiful french cover of Bad Guy with an autoharp.
- She is also highly praised by Julia and Angus Stone or Asaf Avidan that picked her for the opening of their concerts in France in 2018 . Julia invited her later to cover her hit Big Jet Plane with her autoharp on the album Songs for Australia (record from many artists to fund the battle against fires in Australia) and Julia , when she decided to sing a song in french, also asked Pomme to write the lyrics of a french translation of her hit Dance.
Pomme plays autoharp since she is 14 yo, she explained she discovered this instrument as an absolute fan of the folk and country music ( fan of Joan Baez, Dolly Parton, ...)
She defines her music as Authentic, Acoustic and Sad. She said there is always hope in her songs however.
For some of her songs, hope is visible at the surface and some others, you have to dig down.
Her songs relate to the Nature and the environment, to her own story and family, to different social issues (eg La lumiere is a song on Alzheimer's disease) and also her experience as a young lesbian girl.
She said she is transforming her dreams and nightmares into songs or visuals for her videos.
Her lyrics are poetic, she loves to leave room for personal interpretation and reinterpretation.

Idk if you saw my message in twitch the other day but Iv actually met her twice down town in Bergen, Norway where i live. I believe she moved now but im not sure. I feel like iv heard that she moved to Kristiansand or stavanger or something like that. But idk.
I don't really believe in auras and that but the 2 times iv met her she actually had this glow.. Might just be because the weather was immaculate and the sun was shining. Or she just has it because her name... 🤷♂️ Might actually be something to it... Idk.

IMO Aurora and Ren are soul connect, both incredible talent but also beautyfull soul who want to make this world a better place. Both are talking about some difficult topics and put light on it. Both are story teller and wonderfull human. I know you like voice, look at her song ''it happend quiet'' live at the current, you will blown away I promise you.

iThis was your first introduction to Aurora????? Good times! I ran into her this summer while I was discovering Ren, have been very happy to explore her vast catalogue. It's ALL worthwhile, and at some point soon here I'll be headed down the Pomme rabbit hole because I won't ever be able to forget her performance in this one. POMME = rhymes with the English word SOME. You need an accent aigue (é) on the final e for a French word to be pronounced as you would in Spanish. Otherwise, the e is either silent, or functions to modulate the pronunciation of the consonant that appears before it. (Here, it's silent)
