thanks for the video. really helpful
Glad it was helpful!
I have less than 3x3 meters bedroom, i'm planning to buy this, since i think my room is small enough, and i won't use the robot for orther rooms. I just have this question
As far as i know, this Xiaomi E5 robot doesn't have mapping features. So how it detects room shape? Is it gonna clean the entire room, after it thinks already cleaned, it goes back to the charger? I watched the video but still don't understand (i never have any cleaner robot before). I can only imagine if the robot has mapping features, which can detect the room shape.
Is it always automatically back to the charger after cleaning, and is it okay to let it always stay there?
Thank you!
I have 2 questions! First question: Why don't I have a map of the house (room) after and during vacuuming? Second question: How to order the robot to vacuum the kitchen if the robot is currently in the living room? Thank you!
My opinion is that cheapest Xiaomi Mi Robot E5 doesn’t create a map of the house during or after vacuuming.
To vacuum the kitchen if the robot is currently in the living room, we just pick it up and place it in the kitchen by hand or use the manual control on our phones to move the robot to the kitchen or any other place we want to clean.
i have the e10, this one have maps, but not really accurate, can only give general area where the robot has clean and no "No go Zone".
and yes, pick it up and put it in another room is the best way for this device.
Only use it for bedroom and very satisfied, floor is now free from my pets hair (golden retriever and french bulldog) and no need for accurate mapping for my use case.
How about cleaning the other rooms? I have foot panels between my rooms can I just move it or how will you do?

@@sjumpers Thank you. In the app Mi home, everything is working - but in settings/other settings/ remote control it keeps saying "remote control not available" - is yours working ? and do you have any suggestions? Its on the same wi-fi so I do not understand
@@sjumpers why do you need to take it by hand if the doors are opened?
can i do only vacumn (without mopping)?
Why not, just disconnect water container...
Hows the vacuum 1 month later?
One month later, everything is still going great with the vacuum! It keeps the apartment clean-we've programmed it to run twice a week: once with water and once just vacuuming. That’s enough to keep the floors spotless, and it saves us a lot of time. Really happy with it so far!
you can set it to sweep the duct once every other days, frequent light cleaning is better than a deeper
cleaning for a longer time
@@sjumpersI just ordered mine. It was on sale online for around $50 USD
