- Jamie and Barry from @SortedFood show us 3 incredible spots in their hometown; An Old Trusty, Something Fancy and a Guilty Pleasure. Whilst they might be London locals now, Baz & Jamie are originally from St Albans, so that’s where we went. We had beefy tacos in a 600 year old pub, one of the best steaks in the UK that was swimming in brown butter gravy, and we finished it off with a pile of brownies, ice-cream and toffee.

Im from Spain. when they dropped the video of the paella burrito i didnt know about the sorted channel but i read about the problem on the news. it was a big thing in Spain. But, the main problem is that here in Spain the paella is something that people argue about all the time because if you dont to it on a specific way everyone will yell at you and say that you did "rice with things" and not paella. So is not hate on the burrito thing or Jamie specifically, but the fact that here in Spain people is stupid with giving twists to tradional dishes (and things in general really).
So if when someone from spain does it is a problem. When it is a foreigner who does, well, it is time to go to war for the paella xD

I kinda get what's so alluring about these food exploration adventures, it's like that Korean trend called mukbang, but with personalities, interesting food, culture, history and a lot of background behind it. Perfection! TopJaw indeed! Good to see sortedfood in the wild too
Only just watched this episode now but what a cool one!! Really loved it! I always thought of St Albans as a retirement village! I think they just don't want anyone to find out about those places!!! I am soooooo visiting it now! The Pudding Stop looked absolutely insane!😍😛 As did Dylans with that prime rib and brown butter gravy!!!!!

Love the collab, but the cat/dog comment wasn't cool. Appreciate it was a bit of tongue and cheek but it's a stereotype a community has been trying to move away from for years, plus what value did it really add other than a cheap laugh? You guys are smashing it and love all the content, but just left a sour taste after watching a really enjoyable video!

Narrow down their choices to cuisine and just go along for the ride. Bet they would take you to the best food trucks too. Really enjoy your adventures.

But na, always try to use your suggestions of the best local eateries when visiting new cities etc.
Totally agree, most restaurants (with the few exceptions are set up to specialize in the main course. So if not too far away from your 'main', it is a good idea to go to a neighbouring restaurant for your desert (walk off the main!).
Oh!... and putting paella into a burrito???... not something that the spanish want to hear about.
