Howaya Bernadette! 😊 Yes, that means you boiled it too long. It needs to be taken off the heat as soon as begins to bubble and clears up. Make sure to do it at a low-medium heat. Nice and easy. Also once you pour it in to the pan move it around right away. Don’t let it discourage you and give it another go! 💪🏻😊
I brought mine to a boil and right when it turned clear, I took it off the heat, added the corn syrup, and started our scraping method. It did turn opaque but didn’t really get very thick like yours. It’s still very much liquidy
Can you tell me please, which head of the stove do you use ?? For example i have ceran stove 1till 6 which head i can use??😊😊. Because i dont have thermometer

made cake lovely , icing was a disaster it went rock hard while using scraper didnt get chance to put it in ice , never mind ,lol
