I could be wrong here but I think the power figures would be the same other than map 0. The engine is identical other than factory boost levels and if the JB4 has a target boost pressure and fuel delivery then they should be equal.
@@briancobb1295 I agree, it's just ~6 PSI of boost between the two due to the "limits" of the clutch and gearbox, despite the F80/82 being rated for 700NM and I think the G8X gearbox is the same hardware.
I'm looking at a piggyback solution to bring the Base to around Comp performance levels and honestly that'd be enough for me.
@@jaritsu funny that’s exactly what I’m looking for. Looks like the intro maps on the JB4 will do the trick although I’d love to see evidence of that.

I wish you recorded 0-60mph before and after. This will show the real improvement.
What is the fuel octane used ? Probably better on Map 2 because other maps are for better octane and Ethanol mix....Also I think something is not well because map1, 2, 3, 4 same boost increase ☹️

Hi NVM please make review for F40 M135i with new engine B48e with JB4
After map 2, you need to stay in Efficient mode bc it will prevent throttle closures which is why you saw the car over boosting and then kinda failing on power. It sounds stupid, but it works.
Sport mode has a 170mbar overboost hence readjusting boost request solves issues.

Hey i have a racechip on this exact car and anytime I’m in the highest map it pulls back timing, any reason why?
