Robert Hines is a comedian and viral video sensation who’s “BBQ Chicken And Foot Massage” video took off a few years back. It’s time to do something nice for him and try to make it right. Anytime I chatted with him on his live videos, I made sure to be kind to him because a lot of people were being total assholes. We have had many laughs because of him, but we need to remember he’s still a person with feelings.

Thank you. They've exploited him on a platform that he doesn't understand, and now instead of being respectful they're continuing the joke.
Notice how they switch to a patronizing fake tone when they talk to him. It's actually pretty lame of them. The joke is that him and his place and his life are disgusting, it doesn't all "come from a place of love". They should save face, maybe help him out, and never talk about it again.

RPC didn't ask to talk to a doctor, Drew just showed up, and what kind of doctor shares a patient diagnosis. I mean Drew's not a comedian, people take what he says seriously, that's why RPC was suddenly offended I think.
Its also a bit strange that anytime they seem to talk to him its on the show or they end up talking and making jokes. Maybe just not the time or place to be dealing with robert.

His living conditions have become normal to him, he has adapted to living that way, and likely feels a degree of shame about it. He has these little dreams and fantasies about moving or getting a talk show, but now that someone is there giving him the opportunity to do that, he seems to just want to retreat further back into his hiding place. That's how the conversation reads to me, anyway.
He may not be ready to accept that kind of help. I think they should offer help behind the scenes. We all want good things for RPC! I hope RPC realizes he has some famous friends and cashes in some of those perks.

Not trying to be an asshole (I'm a huge YMH fan, piss on me and beat me) but maybe RPC hating the YMH family is kinda what all of us mommies deserve. We have all gotten away with laughing AT RPC for so long, all these mommies try to get ahold of/trigger him every single day (so that they can get on the show), and now RPC is just done with it. I don't think it's necessary to be filled with guilt, but maybe we all have to realize that treating someone like a zoo animals, to observe and laugh at, then making them inescapably aware of this... it won't always end with that person being happy. Maybe we've been wearing our jeans low and loose this whole time without realizing it.
The difference was he seemed to not mind before -- no harm, no foul. The joke was done the instant he said it bothered him, but in this episode they play stupid and speak to him in a patronizing way.
When I first saw the Jones bbq foot massage commercial i thought it was a real business with an owner with a great sense of humor. Now that I have the story behind it and his thought on stand up. I believe that Robert Hines is a comedian genius that has yet to be discovered and live up to his full potential. He works an interview like a pro and has quick one liners. Truly entertaining and one of my most favorite guests on the show
