Just a couple of observations….through buses from Leeds to Bridlington ran well before the Coastliner. Back in NBC days, the York-Pocklington-Hull/Bridlington services almost all ran to/from Leeds. Go back even further and trains ran from Leeds to Bridlington via Market Weighton. It’s a corridor that really needs a service.
The 145 is a council tendered service and it’s a huge missed opportunity having almost all services terminate at Lund rather than running to Market Weighton to connect with the X46/47. Pocklington to Bridlington is now at least 3 hours via Beverley by bus verses 45 mins by car.
Unfortunately the X46/47 timetable is a work of fiction just like the Coastliner. I can’t tell you how much East Yorkshire has gone downhill since Go-Ahead took over, and there is a lot of anger/frustration at them locally because of significant service cuts and generally dreadful reliability.

5:42 X46 existed way before 2020.
