It will take 5 months for Beast to arrive on Global Dokkan but until then, I can at least play as Beast in Legends since I have both the Blue and Red one. Still kinda wild how Legends got two playable Beasts before Dokkan even got one other than a mere active skill.
Also wild how that one active skill is better animated then anything Legends has released since and before.

Gohan is probably the character that has the most consistent number of character releases that made their presence known in the game for months after their release. Whether it is the transforming Yellow Gohan, Yellow Future Gohan, Red SS2 FSK Gohan (both on release and with his zenkai), Purple Revival Gohan, both versions of Beast, the list could go on but I think you get it. Goku has had a lot of releases in the last year but other than UI I feel like it is hard to say that most of his units have had the same sort of impact on the game, for better or worse. Are we about to see it happen again with an Ultra Gohan during the Cell Saga campaign? #HybridSupremacy or #HybridConspiracy
Namek Goku who caused an entire system change? Zenkai LF Super Saiyan 3 who took over the meta and that introduced so many cover change null to nerf his cover rescues. Purple G/V, the first tag unit and the forefather of Mono Purple. OG Instant Transmission Goku that people pray never Zenkai.

@@Ramona122003 you've named 4 good examples, and are making a decent case in addition to the talk I've seen around Ultra UI. Though his usage seems to have fallen off since 17, units like that and Go/Frieza have undeniably been impactful. The latter obviously even bringing with them the "one time" balance change which made them feel like a much more powerful unit. The difference I would say when it comes to Namek Goku is that, as you pointed out, his counter made such an impact that it made them further adjust the battle system as a whole. In doing so while I did see some people who were able to pretty quickly adapt and develop their skill to adjust to the changes, by and large I saw most people unable to do so, which made the counter easier to deal with. I'm actually in the camp of wanting that IT Goku (along with every other unit) to eventually Zenkai but unfortunately with the record the team behind Legends has shown of restricting what they seem willing to do when it comes to the abilities they give Super Saiyan (Zenkai) units, I am not expecting their overall impact to be nearly as crazy as people make it out to be. I feel the same way about the transforming yellow Gohan/Bardock when they get a zenkai, though having a lock in automatically makes for a more "toxic" experience in some people's eyes. I honestly hope I can come back to comments like these and say "look how wrong I was lol" but I guess I'll have to wait and see when it comes to speculation like that

Ultra UI is still the most used unit in the JP meta next to G/B. And he’s still widely used in the US meta because Saiyans is that crack.
Speaking of UI units, you had Purple UI who started the Special Gauges and double cover change and Red UI is part of the reason we have Quick Attacks.

I don't play the game anymore, but I really enjoy watching gameplay with this Red Beasthan. He seems incredibly one dimensional - he has one job, and he excels at it. Ultra UI and Red super 17 are absolutely terrifying. I'd hate to go up against them.

Don't understand how they decided to not have this anniversary synced, and actually think GLB players wouldn't notice Beast Gohan dropping while we get LR Ribrianne, even more the trolling last year by making players think the next Super Hero celebration would be joined, they really wanted to give GLB one last fuck you before being forced to actually manage the version after the sync, and not leave it on auto like they do all the time. I feel after the sync quality will drop drastically because they won't be able to manage both, which is why I believe they are doing so much this anniversary because they know they can't surpass it next year when it's synced.
14-15 cards, 139 time, beast can give an extra, maybe other cars too, EASY rush potential, easy... Lot of times I got like 159-160 sec 9 cards rushes... (so all the cards opponent use has db on it)

What I don’t get is why goresh never charging gohan’s gauge when he’s transformed… there were multiple instances where he would have killed the enemy. Don’t get me wrong goresh is one of the best legends player out there but it‘s like he doesn’t know how to use this character that’s why he‘s downplaying him in his ranking vids.
