My understanding is that the difference between the two is that if you have bronchitis and/or emphysema present only then do you have COPD... Please, correct me if I'm wrong!

Hello Doctor sir , I'm From Bangladesh. I'm 24 years old. I have been suffering in this disease for 2 years. I belongs to a poor family. I hardly managed some money and went to Dhaka city for my treatment but doctor didn't service me well so Still I'm suffering 😢 In a month I got sick 3/4 times . And I'm still not sure whatever it is asthma or copd. Please give me some ideas how can I control my problem and save my life..plzz

First, you need to make sure where you live inside and out that it's free of air pollutants as much as possible (eg. dust, smoke, burning fossil fuels, chemicals, allergens, pollens, etc.)!!! Also, go back to your doctor as it can take time to get you on the right treatment. Also, make sure your doctor is a specialist in pulmonary conditions (lung and airways) like a "pulmonologist" or "respirologist" as different countries call them different things. Eat a healthy diet as much as you can that mainly is plant based and whole foods. And, stay away from refined foods and sugars!!! Also, stay hydrated and maintain a proper BMI. Maybe your country has a public health system that has low cost or free health services is something you might look into!

@@tasrifahamed1 P.S. also don't smoke as it will make you suffer before it kills you in most cases!!! And, if you have to get out of your country and go to one that has better human rights!
