Today you get to be the fence.
The green rods there at the end were what is called "Fishing rods", for running networking wires down walls from the attic, or an interstitial space over office walls. Tape the wire to the rod, drop it down the wall after drilling a hole for it through the header, cut gang box hole in lower wall, pull rod and wire through, and terminate to the faceplate. makes for clean, professional networking installations. Explains the Netgear switches, as well, home networking.

the switch is for expanding the number of ethernet ports (I have one). basically you connect an ethernet cable from a modem/router, then connect the other ports via ethernet cables to different devices you want hard wired instead of wireless (more stable connection).

12:48 that's a network switch. You can have multiple computers on a network and perhaps a modem/router and this joins them all together as a Local Area Network (LAN).
Once your done investigating this guy I would put all the court and police papers with his pictures and return them.

NETGEAR ....you were right, it's a router.
Those things there at the end of the video are called fish sticks. The ends are threaded so you can stick them together to fish wire though walls or the attic. They glow in the dark.
the greenish tall thing at the end is almost certainly an electricians "fishing" rod - it's for pulling wire/cable through conduit behind walls and such. Just more electrician's equipment.

Interesting storage unit lots of random items some worth money and other just junk. You could tie dye the sheets and make some thing interesting
Most routers have switches in them, but not all switches are routers.
If you have a router that does not have a switch, and you need multiple devices wired to it, then you need a 5 port switch. The switch plugs into the router, and your equipment plugs into your switch.
So, you were CLOSE!
My guess is your robber was a home network specialist! Would explain the switches and such. Would also explain some of the "electrician" tools you found and wire!
When you find a thumbdrive, you should have a computer that is not connected the internet, and do a virus scan on it before you put it on your computer. A virus can be on there and mess up your computer...

It had real gold all around the rim and a custom design carved in it. And the leather holder around it can get expensive too if its real leather. They're made to go on belts so you don't have to carry it

Sent you two some Western Canadian munchies. It was returned to on Friday, a month after I sent it! It was food! Stale now. I'll go get them again and shoot it in the mail this week.(new treats for Dexter and your other furry ones too)((I had a Dexter also. She passed 6 years ago at 22 years young)) At least the chickens and the ducks thought the munchies were wonderful.
