« They’re in a rebuild, stupid ! » True words of wisdom from you Tony ! Well said.😂👍
Martin is the best and so are you Tony.
The team well rise again trust me I have all faith in the staff Go Habs Go
Directly from the heart. Thanks, Tony. MSL is growing as a coach, yes, but he's also growing at the same time with those young players on his team. What I don't understand is how so many fans want the highest draft pick possible, but at the same time, those same fans still criticize the team for playing poorly. I'm all-in for the Drive-for-25, and I'm willing to wait it out. Cheers, Tony!
Martin is doing a wonderful job best thing every happen ..keep it up coach…
SICK! Completely agree! he just needs a better assitant coach to support him with the PP and PK
Wait until 2-3 seasons next when habs will be on top of the division consistently due to the power moves they're making today. Everything happening now is just noise.
Great show Tony... a passionate man on a mission ... Serge
I totally agree with you Mr. Tony. People are saying a lot of stupid stuff on Marty. St-louis.
Good show, Tony 👏 everyone hates to loose, but it's part of the process a little hard to watch lately, though .I haven't had time to watch full game's lately because of work .But I guess that's the way it goes sometimes.
the process is: they lose i dont watch.
they win we watch.
easy process to follow.
@habinations I try to watch as much as possible win or loose thankfully work lately is to busy.
All facts! Amazing show Tony! Thanks!
Thank you Tony for putting this out there for me so I don’t have to waste my breath my brain nor my energy on helplessly stupid people that somehow missed the memo. I’ll just send them this and tell them to figure it out from there. If I could tattoo this rant on my forehead, I would.
Marty s awesome 👌 👏 👍
Sick. I couldn't agree any more than with what Tony is saying. I've been sick of these "idiots" for years. They are ok with abject mediocrity which is what Montreal has been for 30 years.
Bien dit mon Tony 👍
Say it out loud for the dummies. REBUILD!!!!
Agreed Tony!
The hyper criticism from some HABS fans and some of the media is what drives good staff & good players out of our team IMO.
Take a deep breath and be patient because we have the BEST management team in the NHL IMO, including MSL.
We are REBUILDING. Get a grip!
That all being say is good and the same is still true theres changes still need
Its trying at times and ok we feel let down at times
Thanks
Those who criticize St.Louis just don't get it. I'm actually sad for them...
Hi what a wonderful suck from a Hab Shill. 8:33
I don't get the anger... they had an abismal season last year we know they are rebuilding and in September we were hoping for bedard... I mean is anybody not seeing that it was actually the plan... let the young guys play even if they loose...
Unfortunately a losing culture is what these kids are growing up in....terrible to shake and nearly impossible to overcome
Well said Tony
No truer words have ever been spoken!! SICK SICK …If you do not like what he says do not tune in I am sure it will not bother Tony. The rest of us do not want to hear you whine about him calling you stupid!!
You say you'll take 3 more months of pain, it will be more like 3 MORE years of pain, at the very least
We’re not idiots to want youppi to be called up from laval to lift the cup again . Go Habs Go…
It's like critisizing a 5 stars chef having only baloney, pumpkins and kraft dinner available.
Tony, you are right! If those who criticize MSL, should simply stop watching les Canadiens for a few years! When the impact of the new management and MSL's coaching will make the team a contender to a championship, then, the complainers will still find something negative. They are “the power of negativity”…..it's a way for them to put aside their life failures.
Bingo.
Coach at this point doesn’t matter.
EXCEPT… Powerplay crap, no excuse for that.
👌
any criticizing MSL is clueless, Armia, Drouin, Dandonov and Evans are contributing nothing but grief to this young team. Joshua Roy and Mesar should be called up at come point this season, Guhle has been out for that last couple of games and it shows on the defensive end. wait until Monahan comes back they will be able to get two lines scoring, many of these vets need to be traded or just released and that includes Gallagher what a brutal contract, he's injured again, his body cannot endure an NHL season any longer
Potential future lineup.
Caulfield Suzuki Dach
Roy Bedard Slafkovsky
Farrell Beck Ylonen
Mysak Evans Mesar
PLD?
@@nealmac9017 - heck no. High maintenance diva who might get you 70 points and demand 9 to 10 million a year. Hard pass.
The same negative Nancie's now are the same who cheered the end Cherry's career. They don't know hockey and rarely watch.

I respect you a lot, Tony, but I have to disagree.
Where I have it against Marty St-Louis is that he still not doing enough to get rid of the freeloaders (no need to name them) nor to stamp the authority in the dressing room against any form of laziness or unprofessional behavior. It obviously does not help him to work with 3 assistants with very limited experienced when he had the opportunity to hire at least one experienced coach on board to become his right hand man. Burrows and Letowski did not have to carry on for this season when they were on probation because of their own woes under Ducharme. Properly replacing Luke Richardson is still not done. Worse of all in conclusion is that we are the same as the Leafs did under Peter Horachek.
The Leafs sucked hard in particular between 2014 and 2016 (2 seasons), especially being a laughing stock of despair under Peter Horachek whom the players were never going to respect him as a coach. Then the club owners over there knew what they were doing when they made sure that Lou Lamoriello and Mike Babcock would be in the process of rebuilding their team. Toronto ended dead last in 2015-16 and yet ended the season with 69 points (29 wins and 11 OT losses) because Babcock was teaching the very young players at the time how to play like proper professionals. Anyone can criticize Babcock's methods, but he did his job by taking that team out of that continuous mediocrity and by showing who was the boss.
Is this a case to replace MSL? Not as of today, but he will have to do a lot more to convince me that he can stamp his authority in the dressing room. I want him to show that he is the boss and that he will call things like they are. It would also help a lot if he had someone like Guy Boucher or Bob Hartley right next to him. Jon Cooper also needed good ol' Rick Bowness alongside him before he became what he became.
Everybody's an expert.
I could tell you haven't seen your anger management therapist since I last posted on your channel. When you sober up, read my last post. It has nothing to do with the # of points the Habs will accumulate this season.
The fact that MSL left Jake Allen in the nets for 9 goals is a sign that he is having communication problems with his players. Mario Tremblay did the same thing in 1995 with Patrick Roy, so don't tell me MSL didn't know better.
Who cares, we don't have a Patrick Roy on the team. Wether it's him or Sam no one gives a shit. A loss is a loss. Stop crying about sobering up
@@marcbabineau6001 I don't think you understand the issue.....lol. Ask someone to help you.
That’s it?
Tony, its not because you repeat something 15 times that it becomes more true... you have to give some arguments with your statement. Ducharme got absolutely destroyed by everyone under the sun and yet he had all the same issues in his team, even worse Caufield and Suzuki were not playing very good. You can't just excuse MSL just because we are in a rebuilt. BTW i'm just playing devil advocate here. While I'm not one to jump the gun and say MSL is terrible.. i'm also waiting before saying he is a gift. He definitely had impact on Caufield and Suzuki so to me its already positive. I just hate people that just scream "you are stupid, you don't have the same opinion as me" without gaving any insight or reasons that their opinion should considered better.
He is a gift… ducharme with a better team went 8-45 while giving kids 0 ice time. At the other hand with msl we have a respectable 15-20-3 record, with a worse team btw
What is increasingly upsetting me is this coach does nothing about all the the free riders on the team.
lol
