I drive a taxi in Preatatyn and yes its a fair old trek from the bottom of the park uphill to the main complex. A site I'd recommend is Reighton Sands near Bridlington, has a good bus service to Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough.
awful time by the sounds of it, a real shame when it is like that. Hope your next trip out is much better for you. We are going to Southview skegness in 3 weeks or so, our 4th time. We went to Cayton Bay Scarborough last year and had chips on site, they sound very much like yours, they were horrible! take care
It was an eye opening experience. Lol the chips were so bad it was funny. I love Skegness we were the 2 weeks ago had a fabulous time. It was my first visit but absolutely loved it. I don’t know why it was voted one of the worse seaside places in the uk I really enjoyed Skeggy and ingoldmills and definitely revisiting next year.
