Nah Wayans brothers are GOATed for making this movie...Hollywood nowadays cant make stuff like that no more...i watched it as i kid and didnt understand half of it, yet til this day its one of my most memorable comedy/parody movie!
I believe that if Hollywood gets the right person it'd be fine. Movies like this are so over the top, that you can tell it's a joke and you shouldn't take anything serious. At least that's what I'd hope

meh number 2 is better than this and the original scary movie parody in production before this: Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the 13th is pretty enjoyable.. all shortys scenes are worth coming back for in this movie

Idk if y’all knew but these movies basically parody a bunch of popular horror movies of the last few decades so a lot of the scenes mirror the ones from the horror movies just in a funny way.

I hope they don't take the plot seriously like many do. Yes it's about a drama happening on a plane but still should be seen just like Scary Movie - parodying constantly. The thing is even during the comedy the actors act dry and serious (though the writers clearly don't), which seems to confuse some reactors.

It wouldn't work in this film, but I've thought long and hard about iterating on "The Climax" scene. In a different film, imagine him flying around the room like a balloon you let the air our of. Another idea, which only works while standing, is the person has his pelvis fly back hard enough to knock his head on the floor. Not unlike the anime cliché of hitting the floor in one frame.
