Great explanation! Thank you. Now I understand what's going on. The game itself looks very interesting but in-game tutorial made just to put Tutorial button in interface.
This is outstanding material. Thanks.
this game is so well designed it's actually amazing
Every single video you've created on UCII is a must-watch1 Thank you so much for all your excellent work!
You are welcome. I am really happy you like it :)
Wonderful vid, thanks so much!
I just bought this in a Steam sale, as I have been looking a new strategy since Panzer Corps. This looks like the game, and your immediate combat guide is thoroughly excellent. Thank you! I will enjoy the combat!
These videos are so clear and easy to follow thank you. Helping me enjoy this game so much more
Thank you and thank you so much for subscribing :)
Great introduction and explanation of combat mechanics and modifiers! Thank you very much!
You are welcome :)
Thank you so much! Things are so much clearer now! Also, could you make a guide on the specialist units? For example, what does the commandos do, what are they good for? Thanks anyway, your videos are awesome!
Yeah I could definitely do that. Juts gotta find a list of them all somewhere :)
very good video series!
Extremely informative. You are either an insane editor, or a very focused individual. Your presentation is great. I'd really like a guide about re-op re-(org?), recycling steps, moving specialist between troops and such. I would imagine you'd want to keep every squad alive for xp... but can you "overpower" squads with steps? im really at a loss at what to do with 1-2 step squads
Thank you so much.
I haven't looked into that very much. I'll have to think about. You can definitely overpower units with steps but the XP penalty is probably gonna cost you a lot in combat.
@@SampstraGames one last question! I dont think i remember you covering the topic but, how do you nominally eliminate enemy HQs? They all seem to have a corner they will eventually hide in together creating a 2-3 turn process (RIP my scoreboard) of working through their ZoCs.
Thank you very much for sharing what you have learned.
@@CarlTheSpud Yeah. There is not much you can do about it. You just have to be there fast enough to handle the extra turns. The best I can give you is use tanks as they have more movement points.
Krasne vysvetleni, uz to pomalu zacnu rozumet :-)
Díky moc. Jsem ráda, že pomohlo :)
you are the GOAT!
You've got a talent for explaining stuff. Cheers. Where are you from?
Thank you so much. Czech Republic.
Love to see how Prestige points work and how to use you HQ. Thanks!
HQ is in the plans. :) Guide about prestige only could be interesting, yeah.
Really great explanation! Thanks alot for this video ... That saves me from reading the manual ;)
No problem. I read it so you don't' have to ;)
Do you know the "odds number formula" the game uses to transform the combat ratio to the end combat number that's in a positive or negative? I understand it until it arrives at the "9:1" ratio that ends up with "6". It loses me there.
nice video. A guide to dealing with fortified units would be very helpful!
That is a really good idea! I am currently in pretty big time press so I can't promise anything but I will definitely think about it.
Many many thanks a deceptivley deep game well explained to an old geezer
I am happy it helps :)
Sub earned
Great video. I would like to add an explanation for the use of engineers. Each step of engineers cancels one step of fortification. One is enough for the "shovel", two are needed for the "wall". Also, the probability of a loss to become stranglers is 66% for the Allies and 50% for the Axis. The good thing about stranglers is that you get back the lost steps when they retreat to an HQ (or supply depot with one turn delay), the bad thing is that each strangler step absorbs one action point from the HQ that received it and that can disrupt your plans.
I got that in a guide coming tomorrow :D :)
Btw do you know why in that combat against messina do the defenders get -1 (on the city symbol)? It should be -2 as they are in a city. Someone mentioned it in the comments and I am not sure why. .
@@SampstraGames It puzzled me for an hour now. I have no answer. :(
@@EmilNick109 Same. Hopefully someone will figure it out and tell us :)
@@SampstraGames I just read on manual that the terrain shift for a city is -1 only, but can change to -3 if the city hex has been ruined by bombardment.
FYI.
aaah, where it all began for me :D saw it in my recommended and had to comment :P
Engage nostalgia XD
@@SampstraGames Copy captain nostalgia engaged! ;P
Where did you find manual for this game?Or information regarding gameplay?
If you go to the store page. There is a link on the right bottom to the manual (it's in the same place as the button to view discussions)

Thank you very much!!
Wonderful game!!
@@SampstraGames Thank you! I was looking for it for days now but I couldn't find it. All I knew was haphazard findings.
if you are not a teacher you should be
thx
Thanks :)
Hey do you get to go to CZcams con
no.
Ok
I was just wondering
a woman?! wow!
yep
painful
A child? Castrato? The delivery is so fast and the articulation so poor, that it is useless.
Don't you hear that this is a woman?
This video is the best I've found on the subject, thanks a lot to Sampstra!
The subject is not that simple, but the video explains it clearly and well.
