    I like the Kuga, I test drove one before damned lockdowns. Have since hired one for a short trip away in the ST Line, in the denim blue colour, on that model it gives you the colour coded side mouldings and bumpers, overall lifting the sleek look of the car.
    ad the 1.5 T petrol engine, nice although I probes prefer the diesel. Like the interior, lovely blue lighting, one evening I just sat I it admiring all the lights( sad I know) but it looks so good. Good quality used on most of the touch points. Infotainment system was good, pretty responsive touch screen, we liked the way the screen could display 3x functions ( sat Nav- DAB and phone ) at once.. I liked the digital speedo, I have that in my learner car for pupils, so easy to read, and the car displays the road sign speed, if you're ever not reading the road ahead correctly , oops, sorry, mooing into driving instructor speak their!. Lol.
    We found the car really spacious and practical, good head and leg room, really easy to get comfortable in the seats up front. The boot was also a great size, swallowed up 2 suitcases, coats, boots for the walks, and a hold-all.
    Spec wise it was fantastic, cruise, DAB as mentioned, cruise, dark roof lining , although didn't feel too dark, front and rear parking sensors, which is handy as the front bonnet just tapers away and is not easy to work out exactly where it is! One of the few gripes I may have about the car.
    There is probably something I have missed, but all in all I totally agree..... A great fun to drive, comfortable, affordable,practical car.🏅👍👍👌👌

    We have had our Kuga ST just over a week now. It is awesome, torquey and power all through the rev ranges, 180 PS 2 Litre Diesel. We opted for Deep Impact Blue, Style kit and ambient lighting. Also has the Bi xenon headlights as standard and they are simply awesome. Wife loves it and tbh, so do I. Still taking it easy for first 1000 miles. Local Evoque owners are surprised...:)

      Will do. We will probably have it for 2 years at least. unless anything nice comes along from ford! Advantage is 23% discount as we are privilege customers..(we got ST for entry level money..;)

      glad you're enjoying it, we're considering an ST-Line X to replace our Focus ST-3 TDCI, but we need the Style Pack to get Xenon, spoiler and privacy glass.

      Great review and very unbiased unlike car wows Matt Watson.
      I have ordered the ST line edition in magnetic grey which has replaced the ST line x I believe... can’t wait to get my car as I think it’s by far the best looking suv in its class... and after test driving a few ST line variants I also think it’s a really good car to drive too.

    Very good review. I have the 150ps 2WD Diesel, and the long throw gear shift took a little bit of getting used to after owning a C Max for a number of years. This is the first review I've seen that's actually mentioned it. Very honest and thorough review, thankyou.

    Collected my kuga vignale 180 p/shift march 1st and am delighted with the car.Tested a ford edge prior to purchase of the kuga but found the kuga a lot more positive to drive so decided on that. Speaking as a person who has spent 40 years dealing in cars as a motor dealer I am not easy to please as regards a vehicle but can highly reccomend the ford kuga !

    The Titanium X is a higher model than the ST. It has all leather heated seats, electric adjustments on your seat, automatic boot, electric sunroof and a smoother ride.

    Hi good fair review. How do you think it compares to the 3008, Ateca et al?

    • @driversseat659
      @driversseat659  Před 7 lety

      Morning John. The Ateca is a great all-rounder if a little bland looking in certain trims but overall it beats the Kuga. The 3008 has a wow factor about it and looks brilliant in the flesh. We'll be reviewing the 3008 in the next few weeks.

    • @driversseat659
      @driversseat659  Před 7 lety +1

      Miomir Mikic many thanks and thanks for subscribing. Haven't driven the Tucson since it came out and recall it was great around town but too firm on rough country roads. Sportage (8/10) and Kuga (7/10) are closely matched with the Sportage coming out on top in most areas (just). Plus the Kia has a wonderful warranty so is a sound purchase.
      Heart would probably have us in the Kuga, though.
      Have you seen the Skoda Kodiaq? Not as sporty but well made, well priced and loads of space. czcams.com/video/q3V5iS1y56E/video.html

    Cheap plastics, touchscreen is hard to use, the interior hinders you pressing buttons on the bottom of the screen, boring looking car, it’s out of date. Get a Seat Arona, it’s better. There’s no ski hatch either. I wouldn’t buy the Kuga.
