Yah it's actually more of not having a choice but to survive, If u don't do anything to help urself, u'll just b stuck there like those other people, so in order to make ur life better, u have to help and improve urself.. I think that's how we Filipinos think of it, and thank u so much 4 the visit.. ^_^

Jesus Christ WW2 is long over. My grandmother who survived it says that in wars there are no good guys. Even filipinos did a lot of bullshit back then. Remember the Makapili? She's okay with the younger japanese and she understands that everyone is just a victim of their government/ruler back then. The common people are usually uninformed and innocent from the war crimes. Besides, Japan is one of our strongest allies since then. They may have some irritating folks who would deny the actions of their ancestors, but they are not the majority. Look at Yui's face when she saw the slums. Clearly, it opened her eyes and realized that Filipinos are respectable and resilient people. Sure a lot of Filipinos may be suffering atm, due to lack of education, job and an uncorrupted gov't. But we still have a lot of things to be proud of.
