sorry for the late response... you need to trigger her purple, blue, and green flower events before you can accumulate jealousy points from dating other villagers the same goes for other villagers you will try to pursue

They start ignoring you hard and don't talk to you and they don't accept gifts

There isnt in the original, but if you emulate the game, there are same-sex mods for the Harvest Moon games, including Tale of Two Towns :D
