this is a late comment, but lipsyncing would defeat the whole purpose of the rehearsal😭 lipsynicing in musical theatre is a big no-no
this version of the play always makes me happiest and i always seem to find my way back because their heather macnamara is plus size, and as a plus size girl myself it shows that my body weight cant set low standards for myself, and that maybe with the vocal practice; one day i too could play a heather

@@Libshq It wasn't the dark ages, they had straighteners back then! It's just that voluminous hair was very popular in the 80s, hence most of the Heathers having curled or at least teased hair in the original film and Official show.

I know nobody will see this. But I hate how during candy store they have the other girls singing along. It kinda ruins it for me, the girls who play the Heathers can sing by themselves. Other than that I honestly love it so much.
The have members of the chorus singing along in candy store in the original production , they are just usually towards the back of the stage and I’m semi darkness. :) as the previous comment said it’s just to give a bit of weight to the harmonies otherwise it would sound a lot thinner with only the three lead vocalists.
