  • I had a chap bring his DC07 round the other day, asking for it to be refurbished. He said he did not mind what colour parts went in, infact the more multicoloured the better, so let's see what we can do!
Fancy donating to the channel? I’m always in need of parts for projects, so have a look at my Amazon wishlist, and let me know who you are in the note so I can read it out on camera! - www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/...

Nothing wrong with making a working machine from lots of different odds and end parts. As long as it works and does the job.

Yep! It's a great way of getting rid of random dc07 parts too 😂 Nearly jumped for joy when he said go crazy

@@beko1987 Just a quick thank you, as I watched one of your Beko1987 Dyson V10 strip down videos to solve my filter flashing problem. Root cause was the cyclones were completely bunged with pet hair...
      Job done now.
To add to this video, I've done a strip down of 2 Dyson dc14's to make a good one using the best parts out of the 2, one had a blown motor but good brush bar/ plate. The other one was falling to bits but a good motor, etc etc

What an absolute frankenstein of a dc07 the customer must have been sniffing something when he asked you to do that Sam 😂but the customer is always right even if they are a bit distorted 😅

    DC07 Harlequin.
My DC08 cylinder should be silver and purple but the purple cylinder top just fell to bits, so it's now wearing a grey one with yellow bin release. Tempted to put more of the yellow accents bits next time I strip it to clean it.

If anyone else here can remember the 1960s, that mismatched vacuum is so colourful it is what we used to call psychedelic.

Just a question: I got my first Henry 160 (I know in uk most people have a henry but here in Holland Nilfisks and karchers are more populair) back to the question everytime i use the green switch i can see an electric flash / spark under the switch in between the switch and the plastic from the hood of the vacuum is this normal?
