✅Snake gourd Stir fry with chana dal:
This dish combines tender snake gourd with cooked chana dal (split chickpeas) for a flavorful and nutritious stir fry. 🥣Ingredients:
Snake gourd - 2 small
Cooked chana dal
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chili powder - 1/2tsp
Salt to taste
Jaggery - 1-2 tsp
Water as needed
Oil - 2tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1tsp
Red chili - 1 broken
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Fresh coconut - 1/4 cup
Few Coriander leaves
Cook chana dal
2tbsp chana dal
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Water - 1cup

Snake gourd seeds(flesh) - 1 cup
Urad dal dal - 1tbsp
Green chilli - 3
Fresh coconut - 1 cup
Tamarind - 1 grape size
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2tsp
Water -1/2 cup or as needed
For tempering
Oil - 2tsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 8-10
Red chilli - 1
Pinch of Hing/asefoetida

Simple and nice recipes. Have few questions though, why did you remove pulp for first recipe? Can it be made with pulp also? And is there any way to lessen its bitterness. I tried once it was very bitter in taste.
Thanks😊. Better to remove the pulp to avoid maximum bitterness. II always remove pulp. You can use pulp if it is tender and doesn't taste bitter.
