Super fun game. Introduced my seven-year-old to it tonight and she “loved it.” (Her words) So happy I was able to introduce her to something like this to get her into board game mechanics!
You just made me aware of its existence! Looked up a couple of videos and think i’ll Het it for her bday in July. :) Dragonwood has plenty to keep us occupied for now. Thanks again for the suggestion!
It's a fun game. I'd like to see an expansion pack and/or advanced mode to build on what's a pretty solid foundation. Fortunately Gamewright are soon to launch a sequel which might be pretty cool.
I just picked it up for my 6 year old to practice her addition while smashing monsters, and discovered that it will also introduce the concepts of probability. She REALLY wants the Cloak of Darkness.
We have kids from 14 down to 5. A family favorite.

A mistake on the rules - if the player fails to capture the creature, he/she loses only 1 card.
