This is why us typical moms can never relate to CZcams moms (not all). Less is more and if you know you want more children or it is a possibility, save what you are able to. It’ll help you so much.

I always shop at Walmart we can’t afford these fancy stuff for kids that will outgrow them or even remember or care what we use on them. My oldest is 11 and she doesn’t really care what brand baby clothes she wore it’s mainly for middle class moms to show off. Like vitamin, pacifier clips and gripe water drops?? Babies don’t need all that. My kids only use Walmart bibs.

To new mums and mums to be:
Regular mum’s (not YT mums) don’t repurchase a stroller every single time there is a new baby. A lot of stuff get sent to CZcamsrs by companies so even if they say they got it don’t assume that they actually purchased it themselves. They may have but it’s not always the case... I’d say a lot of time it’s not. Larger baby items are not disposable... the average person (even financially comfortable people) does not get rid of those items until they have definitely decided they will have no more kids (especially if the items are in great condition).
You reuse baby capsules/ car seats, strollers, the nice clothes, toys, play gyms, high chairs and bigger toys etc etc
So as other people have said, to any new mums or mums to be don’t look at youtubers for a guide. Look at them for ideas, sure but don’t think you need to get rid of your things and repurchase every time.
In terms of storage, even in a small space/house you can spread out the items and store them in different areas of your house.
Don’t misunderstand me, I’m not criticising Tara she has her own agenda to follow and that’s up to her of course, I am simply leaving a comment for the new impressionable and perhaps younger mums out there.
(From a mum of 3 who is financially comfortable and has reused well kept items because I’d like to get the value that I paid out of them)

Yes I agree, I’m a mom of 2 very financially comfortable and we kept and passed down all items from previous pregnancy and we’re still keeping everything in case we have a third. Get your large ticket items, like stroller, car seat, walker, swing etc. in neutral colors, like grey or white, so that you can use them with any baby. Please do not be wasteful, and try to be minimalist when you can.

If any new moms are watching- you do not need all this stuff. I’m telling you, the newborn stage goes so fast. Don’t waste your money. Most of these are great, but even if I was rich, I wouldn’t waste my money.
That's true, I had a lot of hand-me down stuff from my sister in law that I then reused for my second baby. I'd say invest in a good car seat, and then the little things like bottles, diapers and wipes. But, there are a TON of people that are constantly selling good baby gear/clothes and you can get it at a cheaper price, especially if they're just trying to get rid of it
She had a lot of clothes most of which she’ll probably not even wear. Wherever she takes these clothes to once the baby grows out of will get a deal because these clothes are so nice and expensive and someone will get them much cheaper and unworn.
We bought a neutral color infant car seat and stroller with our first baby ( girl) and when we had our second ( a boy) we were able to still use it. Buying some gender neutral pieces such as a pack n play or some outfits will also help save $.
Let Tara do what she wants to do. This is going to be their last baby for sure, so she is super excited. Also, she never mentioned this was a "minimalistic" haul or essentials only. Literally in the title it says "huge" baby haul. If you've been following Tara for just a little but, you'd know she is an extra person and she owns that. If I had her kind of money, I would probably do the same!

Thanks for the video!! I'm 29 weeks pregnant with our precious rainbow baby. She'll be here early April. There's a 13 year difference between her and our oldest daughter, so I had no idea what was even out there anymore and I like to be prepared. Your video didn't offend me and we have the right to purchase or receive whatever we choose for our own children. I am definitely not financially well off but I can still use your list as a guide and find things within my price range. Thanks again and if you find yourself overwhelmed with stuff, I take hand me downs😂. Love the videos and glad you got an all clear from the doctor concerning your hematoma. I’m sure someone else has said it, but you do not need to get rid of everything after each baby and buy all new stuff. It’s pretty wasteful and over the top.

Exactly I said the same thing! You can reuse sooo much stuff especially since she has 2 older girls. Now it’s good to get like a couple things for a specific child to put in their own keepsake. But she’s buying things as though it’s her first child
But if she can buy new stuff for her baby why not? It's always nice to be able to do something like that. What if she donates the other things? To each their own.
I’ve actually never used disposable nursing pads. I was warned that they are like sand paper so I just went straight to the soft reusable ones! If you haven’t tried them, I suggest you do! They are so soft and very absorbent!

Past few years I realised how wrong is consumers society, and im trying to find middle between being hippie and big consumer , so I see all this stuff as garbage soon polluting our yard and our kids eating that plastic ( I'm European, it might be mentality) .

It helps to have boatloads of disposable income. I just reused gear, clothes, etc from my 2 older babies with my third (who's now 7 months). I splurged on a few newer things but I certainly didn't buy new duplicates. The baby period only lasts a year at most so why waste money for the sake of materialism?

Very very true!! Personality has changed. This vlog was about Tara and look what I NEED to have this baby. The focus should be on the baby, providing love and support, not materialistic pink "things"! A baby doesn't know or care you used a blue towel.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Tara is still more likeable and down to earth than a lot of the rest. And I know she and Adam work very hard and deserve to treat themselves and “spoil” Tatum because she most likely will be their last baby...
But buying soooo many expensive, name-brand, unnecessary things seems quite wasteful - in terms of contributing to more plastic waste for our planet, as well as financially where you could be using that money God gave you to pay it forward or bless others who might not be as fortunate. ❤️❤️❤️
I use cotton wool and water with my 3 children. Then only used wipes after 6 weeks.

I have the breast milk freezer bag holder and I love it! I can fit about 10 5oz bags in it (11 if I alternate directions of the bags) or 12 4oz bags. The metal plate at the top is nice because it helps the milk freeze quickly and flat. I have more milk in the freezer than what it can hold, but I use a Tupperware container that I transfer the milk to when the holder is full. 😊

Yep I am on my third baby in 3.5 years and I only need to buy another camera to add to my monitor parent unit. I’m not trying to shame or anything but would you not just reuse previous baby gear buggy etc.

I remember finding cloth, re-usable nursing pads. They went right in the laundry, and made life easier with my 4th baby . I’d put it on the non-nursing breast while I was breast feeding to absorb leakage. ( I didn’t have time to pump, or collect any extra milk.).

They’ve always said they will have 4 children. 4th child maybe not so close together however it was always on the cards. Don’t look at CZcams mums as a guide to what a regular everyday mum does or prepares for a baby. If you intend on having another baby, you keep your larger items for sure.

Tara that swing is amazing for like 4-6 months tops! Then the motor starts making a horrible noise and then it stops working no matter what you do to get it working. It’s super comfortable and my baby loved it but it no longer works. I went back to read reviews and a lot of people said the same thing. I hope you read this message and can look into it a little more I’d hate for you to have the same issue. 🙏🏽😔

White noise machines are great but you don't need a fancy $70 one. I have 2 hussh portable ones and they are LOUD and great when you're out and about with a sleeping newborn. It throws ppl off when you're at the store even when the volume is lowered but it helps drown out the external noise for baby. You can also then plug in and use them at home. Best purchase I've made for baby #3. Wish I had them for older ones.

I’m all about re-using and buying second hand but a car seat is definitely not something to buy second hand. If yours is expired or if you can’t afford a new one check with your hospital. Many have programs that donate car seat for people in need. ❤️ Almost everything else you can buy second hand or re-use after baby.
Agreeing on the car seat thing. Even coming from a good friend and knowing it was in pristine condition... I chucked the infant seat when she grew out of it because around six months or so it started not clicking in properly. It was just a really cheap one and it had basically throwaway quality. Her son isnt that much older than my daughter and they had made her buy it at the hospital because her second hand chicco expired. I hadn't planned on getting an infant seat at all because I babywear., but it was convenient when we went to town when she was very young.
Excited to see how you like the doona!! I'd be between that and the nuna Pippa lite lx... likely end up with a chicco as it's cheaper though.
Also no way I can save our britax marathon clicktight for next baby. I'm actually looking at replacing it before shes even grown out of it.
So I dunno. I was real cheap and got all our stuff either hand me downs or shower gifts and pretty much all the used stuff is done with its lifespan and some of the new stuff is wrecked too. Maybe my kid is just rough and tumble!!😆

But you wouldn't be able to put your trendy $15 pacifier clips or bamboo Egyptian cotton disposable diapers in there...

Yup. So unrelatable. Plus the 2 big cans of formula that'll probably be wasted if she's predominately breastfeeding (gotta be tossed within 30 days of opening) or baby doesn't tolerate it (should know better by baby #4 that all you need are small cans or ready to feed nursers for newborn supplementation). This is just such a wasteful display and just so inconsiderate during an economic crisis for most of us. Not that I'm a sub of any of these yummy mummies. It's just out of touch mom flexing honestly. Do you have a double stroller? Having my second and unsure if it’s necessary and if so which one to buy. I was looking at the Doona also but will have a 2 year old who can’t be trusted walking on her own yet. (She’ll run away)

Not to sound rude but tbh all you need is a bassinet some good swaddle blankets 🍼 and a good swing of course the car seat and stroller but even when I see people buying pampers ahead of time like u dnt know what size will fit them or what formula they’ll tolerate
