    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard with the wildfire burning near Oceanside, in San Diego County, that the U.S. Navy sent two aircraft and the U.S. Marines at Camp Pendleton sent two as well. Is this footage from the Oceanside (Lilac Fire) or a different one in the state?

      Pink is color coding for fire-suppression aircraft.

  • @queenmothervirgomaat9969

    That helicopter slow as hell! By the time they get there the fire would have gobbled 100000 more acres! LMAO!!! WITH THAT LITTLE BUCKET!

    Why they don't use sand for flames.. It's better .. Sand kill fire.. Water only make it worse = ( sauna effect temperature is going up = (

    • @g.sanders6916
      @g.sanders6916 Před 6 lety +1

      Lucifaga X Using water will help prevent any unburned material from burning. Water is also faster and easier for them to collect.

    • @lucifagax3266
      @lucifagax3266 Před 6 lety

      Gage Sanders sand will help more than water .. In Europe they use sand in couple of places .. It's working faster .. It's not about collecting it's about being well organized.

    • @lucifagax3266
      @lucifagax3266 Před 6 lety

      Gage Sanders do experiment at home.. Set up fire somewhere & use water & sand.. Steam from water set up higher temperatures ... So after steam is gone it's easy for it to burn again ...

    • @g.sanders6916
      @g.sanders6916 Před 6 lety

      Lucifaga X I know what you are getting at, but something that is wet has to start drying before it will burn. Also another reason why they use water is it is cheaper to just pull from a body of water, than having to pay for and collect sand. Also not counting having to pay people to collect it.

    • @lucifagax3266
      @lucifagax3266 Před 6 lety

      Weather mod is running as scheduled. They're blocking all moisture from the W Coast, and they want this to burn.
      Thank you Navy.
