Our landlord sent us a $50 gift card to a grocery store for Christmas and we literally got so excited because that’s at least half of our groceries for the week
Our family got the same coupons from wegmans, we own a daycare and spend a lot of money there. When I received it in the mail I was shocked and so thankful! There were over $100 of free food/product coupons in there as well as the $50 off any purchase. They way she acted was absolutely disgusting.

I never comment but former Wegmans employee here. It is a family owned company and they give those “top 100” customer gifts to the top 100 customers of each store and they do not give them to corporations; it’s to customers, regular people! My jaw dropped at her reaction. I feel fiercely defensive for Wegmans. They are a great company and took such good care of me as their employee. They try the same for their customers!
I wet the bed till I was twelve. I had to wear pull ups to sleep. It was THE MOST HUMILIATING, SHAMEFUL secret I had. I didn't want ANYONE to know. EVER. If that had been put on the internet at that age I'm not sure how I would have coped. I remember crying anytime I thought of my "secret" getting out. I feel so bad for myself in retrospect. I was little. The doctor said my bladder was too small. Sure enough, as my body matured, shortly after I got my first period at 12 I never wet the bed again. Now that I'm older, I married the one guy who also wet the bed till he was 14. But he felt completely differently about it. No shame, it just "was." That really changed my perspective and I'm not embarrassed anymore, but still. I remember the feeling viscerally. It makes me cringe thinking about those kids having that out here forever. If they feel even *half* as shameful about it as I did, they'll struggle to function. I would NEVER tell the world something like that about my kids. Crazy.

I too have a very similar story. I would hide, it was awful. My mom was so patient, kind and would wait until I was off to school and change the bed and wash it up. She never said a discouraging word. Took me to the doctor to make sure I was physically ok and the most she ever said to me was... don't worry honey, it won't last forever. No such thing as pull ups or adult diapers back then. It was so embarrassing. But she never even told my brothers, no one else knew, but me and my parents.

Farmer here, can confirm, she takes better care of those chickens than her kids. Her set up is great. You don't measure chicken food. The stuff on the ground is scratch, it encourages them to eat more bugs. The more bugs they eat, the more orange coloured the yolk is, which is a superior tasting yolk.
There's nothing wrong with taking care of animals though. All animals should be treated with the love and respect they deserve..unlike humans......

I have 3 kids and a husband and a normal week for us is typically $125-$200 depending on what we’re out of that week. Weeks we need meat, pull ups/diapers or run out of spices or something will be higher but some weeks when we just need milk and produce or pantry things then it will be lower. Either way, any little discount helps! And $50 is a huge discount when you have a lower budget! With her weekly shopping being like $2000 I can see how $50 would seem like nothing 🙄
Also someone I used to watch all the time was a channel called “our tribe of many”. It’s a mom and dad and they have I think like 12 or 13 kids now all biological and their budget for the MONTH was like $1200 and they eat super healthy and the kids are homeschooled so they are home 24/7 basically and they cook almost every meal at home. I think she needs to take pointers from them.

I’m so glad to have found this channel. I started watching “The Dozen” from their shorts, but was quickly turned off that every aspect of these children’s lives are broadcasted on social media for the world to see. They have zero privacy. She’s terrible. Once it hits the internet it’s on there forever.
That’s how I started watching them. I liked the get ready videos but then it just got worse and worse.
I have more than 2 kids(idk if that has anything to do or if it's just that I'm a mom) and her shorts hit me too and I was like wow maybe I have get tips and then went NOPE Josh would say no and then like a week or two later Josh started talking about her.

I’ve been binge watching your DD videos and in your older video called “Dougherty Dozen, Crazy Pieces And Other Family Vloggers Give Away All Of Their Kids Medical Privacy,” Alicia says that she uses bottles/rocking/bouncing/diapers as a form of regression therapy. Regression therapy is super controversial because it’s basically HYPNOSIS. She’s using this as a tool to help trauma but really, it’s just having kids go back to their trauma and cope through reliving their formative years at their current ages. It’s literally hypnosis. I googled it because it shocked me that this was still a thing. This isn’t backed by psychiatrists. It’s basically the “essential oils” of therapy, not proven and not supported by real doctors, yet still used. This is a wild discovery. So she’s having kids hypnotized instead of real counseling and this could lead to implanting false memories, retraumatization, and can lead kids to think negatively about their bio parents if there are false memories. Wow. Also, this was interesting. A doctor said that if doing “regression therapy” if the patient does not understand that this is not a certified form of treatment/deemed unethical by many professionals, doctors stated “they cannot provide an informed consent, and hence, the principle of autonomy is violated.” Another way Alicia exploits her kids. No informed consent with videos on social media AND with their therapy. She’s destroying these children and are setting them up for failure. She is not giving them proper treatment emotionally and psychologically while also using them for financial gain. Rot in hell, skeletor.

That's the thing. She buys something, it gets lost, and she doesn't seem to care enough to try and find it so instead just goes the easy route of buying a replacement. If something is broken she just goes and buys a new one, so the kids don't feel the need to care for anything.

I do remember that her husband bought those bedsheets as a birthday present in October. They used them without washing them first (which for us Europeans is a big no no) and they sleep on them for over a month! Now she puts the suitcases on the bedsheets after strolling around NYC.. speechless..

Even here in the states most of us wash things prior to first use and of course after using.
New anything needs washing. And after we go on a trip our bags sit in the garage for at least 24 hrs. Anything in them goes right to the wash. You just never know what bugs you’ve brought home. *shudder*

She makes me so angry, at the beginning of the year my daughter's and I lost our home, our landlord couldn't keep up the mortgage payments. The girls went to stay with their dad full time and I moved in to my car with our dogs and cats. It took 10 months to find somewhere for us all to live, I was working 100 hours a week as a recovery driver , not being able to eat, spending ridiculous amounts of money on putting the animals in to day care so I could still keep my job . Now we have a roof over our heads but the rent is triple what I was paying before and we can't afford to have the heating turned on. We live in the middle of the Irish sea, when it's cold here it's beyond freezing. It's heartbreaking to see someone be so wasteful and so tone deaf to how many families are struggling. My heart breaks for those kids, money doesn't buy their love and they are being taught to be bought... It's horrible to watch. Thanks Josh for being a voice for those who can't speak up for themselves.

I have been interested in seeing her chickens since I found out she had them. Surprisingly they look pretty healthy and from what I can tell, their living area doesn’t look bad either. Was expecting much worse considering how she takes care of her house and children😢 she does feed them the same way tho, since I’m pretty sure the first bag she tossed out were meal worms which are considered a treat and should be given sparingly but it’s also winter so I can’t gripe too much about it.
Those chickens have leftovers everday.. 3 times a day. They should b huge.
Re: bottles…noticed in her Xmas shopping video when the kids were making hot chocolate you can see the clean dishes in the drying rack and there are several bottles. Not sippy cups, clearly bottles with tops. The youngest kid is 4.5. Weird.

We had free range chickens, and mom would let them spread the mulch in the garden every year. She would pour piles of mulch and put meal worms and food in the piles of mulch. It would take about 2 days for them to dig into the mulch for the worms. They would spread that mulch beautifully around all the plants, getting down to all the treats.
Can’t wait for this!! She’s getting worse and worse. It’s so gross. Her true colors are definitely coming out more and more. Her fans need to wake the helll up. I feel awful for the children and now the dogs seeing the way she treats them, it’s all just disgusting.
Edit: her Wegmans gift card reaction should be a HUGE eye opener to her fans and the comments she made. Her fans are idiots if they believe her bs about "I wasn't being snarky about the gift card" Absolutely awful. So many things wrong with this woman but she's getting very very money hungry and I'm scared for whats coming in the future. She doesn't care about anything or anyone, only money.

Na. It is all junk food in garage storage which is exposed to hot in summer and cold in winter. And mice and bugs get in it through the constant Opening of the garage door. No No No.
Get yourself some extra canned food that you like or some rice and put it up in containers where the bugs and mice cannot get it. The sell food grade buckets that are a thick plastic. Y'all can put food up for just a few dollars here and there.

It actually looked good on her that she only got a chocolate bar after talking about being a top customer or whatever she said. She thought she was going to get something wonderful and had her bubble burst with a chocolate bar lol She just showed yet again how terrible she is. We always say thank you for anything whether we like the item or not.
My mom is always buying me clothes that are way too big for Christmas, I'm talking pants that go to my shoulders and could fit 4 people. Not only do I have a thankful response, i then put the items on and parade around the room so the family can get their annual Christmas laugh from me. They're thankful for that lol. I think my mom does it on purpose just for the fashion show. I end up quietly donating the items to a charity.
