I saw them in Adelaide just a few days before this, and he was talking about that panic attack he mentioned he had right before our show. It felt like true acceptance of our terminal human condition, where usually most of us try to fight it. It will never die, because it is a part of us. The only way is to live side by side with our mental health, acknowledge it, but not let it control us. It seems like Caleb has totally accepted his own self and mental condition, and as someone who is studying psychology and still trying to figure out how to do that myself, I found this speech endlessly inspirational. I already loved them but hearing him talk like that, so real and honest, I have a whole new respect for him and this song. It was beautiful. Side note- they absolutely killed it, it was an insane show!!
Thank you for uploading this, I absolutely love Caleb and have related so much to his music and journey. To the people talking about quality, it sounds better live. I think he's absolutely incredible. Even if people want to critique his live singing, the energy and stage presence he brings in combination to getting the crowd so into the show is well worth that difference. I've never been disappointed and think he sounds great live and will always see Beartooth when they're in 5 hours range of me.
Amazing video. Fo Caleb to talk about something so personal then go on to kill it is quite a statement. Band was tight as always, there was some nice improv fills from the drummer.
@adrianm1739 haha I’m demanding ? No I am not demanding but if I should pay to be entertained then I expect it to be atleast decent .. have you even ever been to there shows ? No ? So then you don’t have a clue how bad he sounds live
I love him for being that transparent. Might Love Myself is my favorite song they've ever written tho

カッコ良すぎや
Caleb shomo is my best friend from christian protest
I love the message of the song, but I don't think the song is very good compared to their other stuff.
He’s not a great singer live . I saw them
In 2021 and ehh
Yeah I guess most vocally demanding songs live aren't gonna be the best unfortunately.
@@nocaptostop most vocally demanding? So you mean every song they played? Just cuz it’s done live certainly doesn’t make it the most vocally demanding
@SmokeWithMeInCT lol nah thats a good point. Studio production edits definitely might have something to do with this difference
@@nocaptostop oh most def does. You notice a lot of vocalist sound pretty bad Live
