Yeah no, this boss is just entirely unfair unfun bullshit. I had 19 fragments total during this fight and still took me 40 tries with summons.

Unpredictable bullshit movesets, trash camera angles, particles that fucking drop frames fill the screen to where you can't even fucking see half the time. Second phase has numerous attacks that double stack.
Unless you basically went full tank and permablocked dont even sit here and tell me that you had you no problems with this boss you're full of shit and coping so hard its not even funny.

I beat him on my 6th attempt or so, but first attempt with the build in question. Moore's armor, Black Knight great shield and Gaius' spearblade. 12 int to use Scholar's Shield, dmg negation and block tears, turtle neck stamina food and guard-oriented talismans. Along with my mimic I literally whittled him down before realizing.
I was going to include the 2 NPC summons I had available as well, but wanted to try first to see how the build played out. Pretty well it turned out :D
They shouldn't design bosses believing all players will use summons

manreally did all those runs without learning to dodge the meteor shower. you just sideways sprint and jump right before they reach you - works every time and lets you get time for a heal and stamina regen.

Rahdans attacks in phase2 are just flashy and generally only require running and 1-2 rolls at the end of his combo. Phase 1 is even easier since hes not using all the light to make it flashy

Fax. He's really not that complex. He's just quick and relentless and makes people panic because they're nervous due to his imposing speed and damage. He's a great boss fight. My favorite out of any game.

You Either to have stacked blessings or a very strong build to do it easily. But... You do have the actual option to make the fight easy. So when you decide to have your ego and bump your head a wall. You will get mad but the wrong reasons.

Lol just go get fingerprint shield or the new shield from moore , grab a rot rapier and put bleed ash of war on it, you can block and attack at same time with fingerprint shield, i got him in under 20 tries and that includes my fails before switching my build.

Wnen will people realize that rolling is not the only option in souls games? There are shields too. You get a shield that negates damage a boss deals, use some appropriate talismans and save yourself a lot of time and nerves.

It's crazy how he literally never learns. Endlessly uses that stupid hammer spin attack that leaves him wide open on a boss that can basically combo you out from full. 27:52 was painful. Could of most likely gotten how with 2...maybe 3 normal swings.

Either don't dodge into him but roll backwards so that he doesn't activate the second part of the attack as you are far away. Sprint jump backwards after dodging his pull closer up so you can dodge the purple AOE or just don't stay at mid-range and always be on his ass the entire time so he doesn't use the attack and then heal in-between his combo's instead of running away in neutral. It boggles my mind I have to explain this to people who lose to a boss and call it bullshit as they're bad and don't understand the mechanics. Stop being such a scrub and git good at the boss.

I'm pretty trash at these games and your right, I did spend days fighting Radahn (and with the exception of some wonky hitboxes and overturned damage) found him fair. I don't know all of his mechanics and combo strings which goes to show you don't need to completely master a boss to have fun with it. These games have NEVER been about perfection but about persistence and the ability to pick yourself up and go back to the boss and learn from your mistakes which is what any "reasonable" person can do. You don't need to be a god gamer to beat these games and if the challenge is to much for you then lower the difficulty with the hundreds of RPG mechanics in the game and stop whining about dying to some of fromsofts most mechanically intricate bosses to date because you refuse to learn and adapt which is the main appeal of these bosses. Also, I'm curios, what else about the fight did you find dogshit?

Bro the fight is so easy and fun.. just dodge... took like 20 attempts... let me give everyone some tips:
1. Dodging the Meteor Shower: Right when Radahn lowers his sword and the rocks fly at you run to the left or right horizontally from him. Then right before they hit the ground jump. 100% dodge rate
2. Dodging the Gravity succ succ: Firstly you can dodge roll through the wave before it sucks you to him (sometimes this randomly happens when you have a shield up, idk the exact trigger)... Secondly, since most people will not be able to react in time because its a dummy fast attack and he likes to spam it when you are next to him, after you get sucked in all you have to do is run directly way from him. And the moment he is about to slam the ground with his sword Jump and keep running away from the rocks.... 100% dodge rate (except the initial suck damage)
3. 90% of sword attacks: You want to dodge roll into Radahn to the left. Will prevent you from getting hit. But you have to learn the timing of each roll yourself... Except when he does the double swing up (that knocks you in the air) you want to dodge into him to the right, will prevent you from getting clipped.
4. Parry... It takes 3 parries to knock Radahn down but it is free damage... When Radahn slams his foot into the ground to make the rocks shoot up dodge roll into him. The next attack he does with his right arm is a parriable attack with a generous window... if you miss this parry don't worry, his 3rd attack in the same combo is also a move that can be parried (remember, 1st and 3rd attack for that combo... and you can shield through the 2nd attack to immediately parry the 3rd)... Sometimes he doesn't do the foot stomp but will still do the following attack pattern. If you can learn to keep an eye out for it that is easy parry damage and might help you get to phase 2 with more health.
5. Dear God what did from soft cook phase: Make sure to equip the holy braid that does max holy negation + the +3 charm that does max non physical negation... hell equip the max physical negation too because the fight damage is BS. Should really help on holy negation.
6. Dodging the T-pose of dominance: When Radahn asserts dominance on you and floats into the sky you have 1 second to react and run away in a straight line... right before the explosion you can attempt to dodge roll out of the spell radius. this is the only way to dodge the blast. If you react a millisecond too late to start running, or run at a curved angle because the camera sucks gg you are gonna get hit, heal and stop running.
7. After the meteor in phase 2 he will float in the air and do some holly 4 combo ghost attack from a distance... all you have to do is just doge roll to the right 4 times (or run if you can time it correctly). You can shield the last hit for free damage.
8. Dodging the grab: If you didn't know, you can use Miqualla's broken rune to remove the charm that is placed on you after the first grab, otherwise its an instant KO if you get grabbed 2 times in a row... One of the easiest grabs to dodge in the game, very large tell as his arms will glow and sparkle, then he will jump, you want to dodge into him (left or right) as he is falling. Free damage after.
9. HOLLY SUCC: pray... I got nothing on this, broken af bs chain attack after the 2nd phase succ... idk how to doge that crap.

Me and my friend group all laughing at the fact you can buff stack at the door, pop an iron jar aromatic, trade 1 ash with the lightning bottle for phase 1, heal, and trade 1 more time, killing the boss in 8 seconds. Absolutely wild how easy this dlc was, granted some bosses have an RNG factor in their moveset, but souls games have never been about getting good, theyre about being properly prepared.
Iron jars
Incantation buff stacking (howl/golden vow)
Defencive consumables (prawn/crab)
Scacu tree blessing
Correct talismans (including swaps from black dumpling and madding hand/aged ones to mushroom/poison hand, to red mask/lord of bloods.
Spend the time prepping, learn the buff routine, and its easy
Note im not claiming it took 1 try, but less than 10

Bruh easiest final boss of my life took 2 tries because i'm bad and got hit by the 1 shot. 18 skadookitree He could not handle the unga bunga bleed chicken leg with cragblade. full moore set + typical defensive talismans. boiled crab / golden vow / erdtree protection. stance breaking tear. litrerally just stand in his face and trade R2s. kept him stunlocked 95% of the time.

What weapon did you use?
@@stephanepv can't remember the name but itw the big chicken leg looking weapon. Scales with arcane so when you bleed infuse and pump points into arcane it gets like 220 bleed build up. it's quite strong. Also has a unique heavy attack that bleeds even more. Tested like 50 plus weapons at near max and it was the best I found besides perfume.
I'm so glad he actually finished the fight the proper way. Unlike other "gamers" that used summons and shield to cheese the boss.

@@Marvin-vs3tu Oh yeah sure, whatever you say. Overlooked fingerprint shield balance is a design flaw, that's why it is the same as cheating. Devs can't perfectly balance HUNDREDS of items. Anyone can beat Radahn in 1-2 tries with it, but on average people take 200 attempts to beat him. Cheesing boss with use of overlooked unbalanced mechanics is cheating. The same as perfumer one shot build and many others broken builds.
Regarding summons - it is essentially easy mode. Sure you can use them, but it is not default difficulty, it is "game journalist difficulty". You skip most of the mechanics of the boss because summon hold aggro on themselves. When boss is designed to punish healing, you can heal easily because your summon is holding it. Instead of learning attack patterns of the boss, you just hit him in the back FOR FREE while he's busy with your summon.
So "no proper way" is absolute nonsense. Proper way is use WHATEVER you want as long as it is not legal cheating. Sure you can beat game on easy mode but it is up to you.
