People forget that Cabba is literally stronger than all of DBZs characters, hence vegeta Saying he was on par with his base form therefore on par with his super saiyan form. And him turning super saiyan the second time easily isnt that much of a surprise since Goku turned super saiyan twice on namek. And its been established that the stronger you are the easier it is to become a super saiyan.
Dude comeone vegeta just being humble and just wanna tease cabba to go ssj but it turns out cabba cant transform and which part does ssj cabba on par with ssj vegeta? Vegeta had no damage and he tanked his punch like nothing and thats what you said on par? Stop this nonsense lol
I don’t think he beats all the buus
1. We can literally see Vegeta tank full force punch from Cabba in ssj with his face, so Vegeta was just saying that to boost Cabba’s fighting spirit.
2. This is where the strong god base forms are no longer a thing in Toriyama’s mind. The manga, which was more closely supervised by Toriyama, never had the ”godly base forms” and these characters were created by Toriyama with that in mind. It makes no sense whatsoever storytelling wise that a random Saiyan who has never been pushed enough to reach even ssj1 would just randomly be stronger than all of Z. Or a random dude from Metalmen species, species that is also found from U7, would be stronger than Goku’s SSG against Beerus.
And the funny thing is the story is not even trying to imply that they are that strong. None of the other fighters got any sort of actual praise from Goku or Vegeta, or Beerus and Whis. Only Hit, who was actually strong and able to compete with their actual God level form. Cabba, even in ssj, would have lost to Fat Buu easily if Buu was still in this tournament.
Toei doesn’t make it 100% clear in this arc yet that the strong base forms are gone (other than the story would just make 0 sense any other way), but in the next main arc it is already clear, when confirmed non god level characters push Goku to ssj2 etc.. The inconsistency between what both Toriyama and Toei had in mind with the strong base forms can be seen as in the next filler arc after this tournament, which is 100% Toei creation, has the strong base form again briefly, but then they are gone again in the next arc supervised by Toriyama.
The thing is that's how Dragon ball has always worked.
The characters introduced after a saga is stronger than those that came before and it's known that Saiyans in universe 7 never trained and relied on their Oozaru forms. From what we see, rather conqueror/planet selling businessmen, the saiyans of universe 6 are largely a sort of military state /Planet that fights different species or fights for different species therefore they trained more and lived longer therefore they progressed more anyways. In db universe time, Planet Vegeta along with the Saiyan Race died around 5 decades ago. 5 decades for an entire race of zenkai boosting freaks like saiyans to progress is a valid amount of time for them to catch up, they aren't on par with goku and Vegeta but their in the ball park because there's more people around the same strength to push u which explains why Cabba is so strong relatively speaking. Therefore him being as strong as Vegeta's base form isn't too farfetched even if it feels like it came outta left field.
@@cjay_5486 people don’t read the manga, in dbs they also state Buu was on god level, it’s just inconsistent writing with the new writer for the show
And then people defend master Roshi vs Jiren too lol, they will defend anything this writer comes up with, like even if Jiren was holding back, master Roshi should be standing still when Jiren see’s him
"remember this pain, and let it activate you" is such a foreshadowing moment
Toriyama decided from here now that he's gonna transform anyone he sees.

Don't know if you guys will see this, but first of all, love rewatching dbz and now super with you guys, feels like watching it with mates again for the first time. Second, I remember hearing a theory about super saiyans and transformations. That inherently, half saiyans are stronger than full saiyans because of their empathy. That's why trunks, goten and gohan have achieved super saiyan far earlier than goku or vegeta, and also why goku is so strong because he's a full blooded saiyan but with empathy. The downside to half bloods is that they lack the commitment to their training that full blooded saiyans have which is why they don't progress as far, which kind of balances them out. This makes it interesting with cabba because he's in the same boat as goku, full blood but has empathy, potentially giving his race of saiyans an edge over universe 6. Whether it's true or not I found it interesting haha

Alex I know Cabba doesn’t look intimidating but never underestimate an opponent especially that’s a Saiyan, Cabba is now the first super saiyan of universe 6

I’m fine with Cabba turning super saiyan, I do wish his design implied more of the assumed lifetime of hard battles he must have gone through to be as strong as VEGETA in his base form
Exacly, man I mention it in a comment and get fans jumping on me for it and always trying to defend the writers decision on the power scaling of the show.
It’s like a throw away for the work they put in for dbz, especially the next sayians

Despite Cabba looking weaker he would one shot characters like perfect cell. Cabba with the other Saiyans from Universe 6 are more evolved in which they don't need all those muscles to infer strength similar to Lord Beerus. Another example of this is when Vegeta goes Super Saiyan God he gets skinnier and looks younger.

Base cabba would have been *bodied* by Cell lol. SSj Cabba would destroy him though. Super Perfect Cell though.. that might be too much
In Vegeta and Cabba fight Vegeta estimated is there a base levels were about even. Vegeta base level is way more powerful than perfect cell even krillin stronger than perfect cell at this point during dragon Ball super.

They should’ve just introduced the U6 Sayians with the ability to turn super sayian the fact he transformed on his 1st try, in a tournament with high stakes and his opponent teaching him is too convenient & coincidental
The saiyans in Universe 6 are more evolved than the ones in Universe 7, Cabba compared to Z would take out everyone up to the Cell Saga in one blow
Debatable, but I’d say Super Perfect Cell could be too much for ssj Cabba, as it required a strong ssj2 to beat that guy

@@grydon6422Base Cabba is on par with base vegeta. Base vegeta is on par with base goku. Base goku is significantly stronger than Super vegito. Super Vegito is the strongest character is Z. Therefore Cabba oneshots all of Z.

I don't get how even with the U6 saiyans incredible strength and all the battles they fought, no one figured out how to unlock Ssj yet? What's going on over there, they fight their battles happy? Vegeta had to teach dude how to get mad.
I think it was deserved and you got to remember it's Vegeta no other master than him you can't fook up
Base vegeta should be far far stronger, not sure how chappa base is equal, this is one of many issues with the power scaling
U6 Saiyan's are more evolved.. this isn't a power scaling issue, this is you not paying attention to anything other than the fights
