Great video! I personally would not buy an ASD again for myself (had to return it twice due to the damaged packaging and display itself, not to mention the buzzing sound coming from the back of the display and coil whine) but I fully agree with what you're saying.

Just a correction, even if you could daisy chain apple won't let you unless you have one of the "Pro" chips. I went through this with my MBP. Apple doesn't allow daisy chaining, period. So even if your display HAD the ports you won't be able to in OS. What's really weird is if you had an Intel Mac, this feature was turned off for OS, but you could with Windows. Now, even if you wanted to have external dual monitors, without adapters or some sort of back door you won't be able to unless you have one of the pro series chips. It's a PITA.

That’s a great point! It’s just another one of those things Apple does to encourage people to buy the next step up.
