Nova3D Whale3 SE - UV reading range: 6.3 - 5.5. Measured in 9 spots around the 10.3 inch screen, average was ~6. All readings were done through Nova3D included FEP.

I bet you can also use that meter to test UV safety glasses to see if they will actually protect your eyes. Maybe test the printer covers too.

stronger light the faster print, most desktop DLP can do 9-15, LCD 1-5, or some new printer can achieve 6 but the stronger light shorten the life of LCD

Dennys, thanks for the review of the new tech!
It would be interesting to compare mesured uv power of phrozen, anycubic and elegoo printers...

The problem with your friend's printer is much more likely that his LCD 'wore out', and the LCD is what he needs to change.
I have that Chitu UV meter, I'll post the UV reading for the Nova3D Whale3 SE later.

@@wangdennys OK, does the Phrozen have an "Intensity" setting [like the Anycubic Mono X]?
If it is the UV LEDs, hopefully Phrozen will give him a new lightsource unit for free.
