Thankyou this was just what I needed I was going to upgrade my 3018 pro to cut aluminum when someone told me about wax and I could make molds from silicone using a wax plug I was like F
You gave me an idea; probably you saw this 3d filament for 3d printers made of wax, it is special for making molds. So in instead of 3d printing the mold, I think will be better to CNC the mold in wax as you. Then put the mold made with plaster and wax in the oven so the wax can evaporate. Instead of using the "PLA Lost" technic. What do you think?
WOW thanks for an even better idea I was going to upgrade my 3018 pro to cut aluminum til I heard about wax then I found this video and instructions on how to make the wax,
Thanks for share! I think you are a genius, make things by an unconventional and more intelligent way. Greetings from the south of the world!
Top essa máquina sua, mesmo sendo bastante improvisada é uma das q vi os melhores vídeos de usinagem 3d.
Thanks!!
This is great! I love everything about this video. Thank you for sharing.
Very cool, nice little mill you got there
Fire diy CNC machine ,thats super cool

very nice working laboratory. thanks for the video.
This is amazing. Can it be reused by melting it again?
Yes it can.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!

No need for oven, but everything depends on the model. You can make two part mold out of wax, than poure plaster if you want plaster model at the end.
Look at this video, it was just opposite materials. czcams.com/video/VZMWnhm758Q/video.html
@@clueless3891 Thanks Man!

Do you know the ratio of Wax to PE ? in weight or approximate volume? I'm just looking for a rough rule of thumb. Thanks for posting!!
Nope, just eyeballing. It depends on machine, end mill and settings...
How to make a this CNC machine
Hi man ,thanks for the video ,how many axis has your cnc here 3 or 6?
3 axis
@@clueless3891 thanks
👍
Is that 200 in Celsius or in Fahrenheit? What's the proportion of wax to polyethylene?
It is in watts, I made better cooker, video is on this channel. There is no exact measurement, put more ldpe if machine can handle it.
Could this work with beeswax?
I think it will work.
Can you this as an alternative injection wax ?
It depends on the model, for sculptures you need 4 or 5 axis cnc machine...
I think the question was misunderstood. Yes, you could try this to inject into the mold
Iam so interested with this mini cnc, would you make video how to build this cnc? Its Will be great
I'm trying to find a time, hope to make in near future
@@clueless3891 great! thanks a lot for showing the making of the wax.
@@clueless3891 This wax piece is thermal resistance?
@@mikekiske It has higher melting point
Hi its me again, how jam still waiting for you to show us build this cnc, and it is can mill on aluminium or PCB?
Hi Dear Sir I want resepe wax jewelry making wax help me to send me your email program Thanks
