genuinely awesome video. im newer to modding and this is the first explanation i could find that showed what to do with each thing like the .archive file and bin folders.
This video helped a lot just recently bought cyberpunk on pc and all these videos wouldn’t explain that i needed mods to read the mods I was trying to use
Yea funny enough, all of those "Top Cyberpunk Mods" videos tend to pull in the most views, but they always leave out the most important detail lol. Without the core mods, 90% of the mods they mention wouldn't even work.

great video! i'm having issues with mods that go into the r6 file where they just aren't loaded at all, i installed all of the requirements and core mods you suggested do you have any idea what might be wrong or something i could have missed? i've reinstalled the game and all the mods a couple times now and done things people suggested from other places but nothings worked so far, mods that go in the bin folder work fine.

Quick question, at around 17:50 you "bring up your HUD", I'd like to toggle my HUD on/off like that but I'm not sure how, is it a mod or an in-game thing? Edit- Think I might've found it in your mod list, is it the Limited HUD mod? I'll install it and play around with it.
At that specific part in the video I used a hotkey from Appearance Menu Mod to toggle the HUD. However Limited HUD essentially does the same thing, except it's configurable for different situations. For example: only showing the HUD when wielding a weapon or driving.

A lot of people seem to think mod settings is mandatory but it's really optional for 99% of mods that claim it's "needed." I still use it anyway for tweaking settings, but as of now it needs an update to work on version 2.02
bro i have tried this so many time like im not joking like 10 times and it crashes each time i followed the vid and everything but nothing works and i have found out uts the redscript folder but no redscript folder or file works and mods that i download do not work without it
So nice video! But I can not use core mod examply RED4EXT, TewakXL, Alchive. Because When i install that things, The game said "Script error".I know many people have this problem. Do u know fix this? I'm really want use them.

If you're installing mods for the 1st time, you shouldn't be overwriting any files. But even if it prompts you to overwrite, just go ahead & do it. Some mods do replace base game files. Worst case scenario, if it breaks the game just delete the r6 & red4ext folder and then verify integrity of files through Steam or GOG.
Are you trying to toggle Redmods? Because that's done through using the red launcher, or just by opening the game through steam. Any other mods are enabled by default or may have toggles through Native Settings UI or Mod Settings.
Always drag all files that come with the mod. Leaving out folders or files can lead to the mod not behaving correctly or crashing the game. Some mods will have at engine file, but beware most engine mods can overwrite base game files. Be sure to back them up or just verify the integrity of the game files if overwriting them causes issues
having all those essential mods downloaded and my game wont boot up on the 2.01 patch.. Hoping it is the cybercmd that is causing the issue and I dont need it.. Also why dont you just download most of these through vortex? They seem to all work and are supported besides the native settings ui which you'll need to download and unzip.
Yeah I dont use cybercmd because it doesnt work with Cyber Engine Tweaks, which is a much better mod. & I'm just not familiar with Vortex. It could be easier but it's not like installing manually is hard. I stick with what I know...If it ain't broke, don't fix it 🤷🏿♂️
Redmod is very hit or miss. Hence why most of my mods are manually installed the old school way. Only Redmods I use are No Cyberware Limit & SFX Begone.
When I go to steamapps I see my other games but Cyperpunk does not have a folder? I had the same problem with Vortex. Cyperpunk was nowhere to be found. Pls help

Lol, just follow the steps in my pinned comment & run the game without mods, the game can't break permanently 😅 Im thinking you either installed something incorrectly or you're using an out of date core mod. Also be sure to not use Cybercmd & Cyber Engine Tweaks at the same time.

I followed the video and only the core mods worked. I created a mod folder under PC and yet the mods I downloaded didn’t work
By the way, the "Mod Settings" mod will likely crash your game, so not installing it would be the best choice.

if you have this folder at the end of the video in the pc archive folder, it should have mods written at the end but I don't

Those are base game folders. You need to create a mod folder yourself if other mods already haven't.

you can also access to the file location from the propaties of Steam library (client), usually stored that you chose location when you did install
