Her kit and mics along with her mixing/recoding is killer on top of her talent is a huge difference over a lot of other ut cover artist
I believe System of a down are the most engaging band for a drummer and they are quite technical and complex to play with drums, congratulations you're an awesome drummer
I was just talking about this too. Every instrument is so distinctly recognizable, you could take any one out and play it solo, and its obviously SOAD. I love that they’re not just a guitar heavy band that sounds like the others.
Its certainly one of them, but there are so many more that have different styles with similar or even higher complexity.
If you guys are interested in an example, check the drum cam videos from Havocs drummer Pete Webber. Havoc Songs use ... different paces and mix them up, its crazy imo. :D
@@ArgelTal_ I just saw your comment, but do they have a time signature switch throughout a song? Like how Incubus’s “Nice to Know You” goes from 3/4 to 4/4 to a 7/4 thrown in lol. I love those kinds of songs. Imma check out Havoc now 👍
That's a easy but fun song to play. In general, System of a Down's drums are not that difficult.
I dont know what setup they use now but when this song came out the drummers kit was almost comedically big.

I had to study a few different covers and drum only sets to figure out what all you did hear. The biggest change I like (and probably the biggest change) are the snare flanges during "trust in my" it changes the feel a bit, I really like it.
