Amen! I was also given the understanding that God will not give you more than you can bear. Pastor Paul's teaching helps provide clarity and a deeper understanding of this verse. Since the Holy Spirit spoke that word to me that Jesus will prepare a way of escape for me I found myself filled with hope and faith that I would not be alone in the temptation and I came to expect the way of escape and know that it will always be there and I will always be looking for it; whereas before I received this word, I never expected the way of escape because I didn’t know it was there or that it would be there. How I dealt with temptation before was that I would just resist it and resist it until I’d used up all my own strength and if the desire to give in to the temptation still remained I’d eventually give in because I’d get despondent from the uselessness of my own strength. And though I never gave up faith that Jesus would set me free of this sin I never knew how He would do it - I thought He’d just take the desire from me - but He remained faithful to His word and didn’t let my capacity to sin come between us and this word is a wonderful gift. Praise you Jesus.

Hallelujah! Same testimony here! I have been dealing with the temptation of pornography and lust but whenever I couldn't resist it anymore I would just give this verse as an excuse for myself interpreting it as I wish, thinking Maybe the way out prepared by God is to go and do it. I used to think maybe that's how God is giving me a break from this temptation. As it's said bad theology leads to bad life, these temptations led me to poor decisions and affect many walks my life which I regret a lot. But all these times God was faithful and wouldn't allow me to be tempted more than I can bear and was always showing me the way out of it, the way out of committing sin against him and against myself.
This is the most amazing message I've ever seen on this Passage. It is exactly how I feel about this scripture, but never heard it this way. He teaches this so real with simplicity and to the point. Blessings be to God for the word!!

As someone who has struggled with clinical depression my whole life, I have never heard a pastor refer to it as a temptation.
I’ve been studying 1st Corinthians for some time and last night I prayed about temptation before going to sleep as I am feeling temped on certain things and this morning Jesus showed me this just in time. Feeling at peace and I know that he’ll provide that escape and he has! 💛 Thank you God for your faithfulness!

I pray God almigthy is my lord, my shepherd at all times till the end of days, binding to keep myself, my family, friends, acquintances, neighbours, colleagues, opponents and the body of Christ from temptations that are not of God almigthy, loosening the word of 1 corinthians 10:13, 2 corinthians 6:14-15, matthew 6:24 binding to the pit of hell all that gives in to temptations that are not of God in my life , the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents and the body of Christ, binding to hell being unequally yoked with and have any common share with anyone giving in to temptations that are not of God, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ: amen!

It is now 2022 I wish this Guy would of been around 15 years ago All I got out of being a babe in Christ was was sow money make money hopefully I will still make it to heaven got so beat up for 15 years . Hope God still loves me

It's been 30 years for me...but different circumstances. I am restarting my Christian life all over at age 58 because I never learned the basics. Thanks to Pastor Paul's videos, those foundational teachings of Christ are beginning to take root.
Julie, He does love you. Just keep pursuing God and He will continue to reveal Himself to you
you don't need to hope to make it to heaven, you can know for sure! If you put your faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross, and ask him, he will save you! It isn't about what we do it is all about what he has done!
Seek Jesus Everyday! It's as simple as that because he was seeking for you more all these years. And you're still alive (if you're) because he is inviting you to a love relationship with arms are wide open! Stay Blessed Dear! ❤

What if you don’t want to escape, because your afraid of what god provides as an escape? If your afraid of change.
