I found some of the MOST HILARIOUS and WORST fake Minecraft 1.18 speedruns that have been submitted… In this video, I talk about these runs and break them down, and it was insane.

On Bedrock Minecraft, it is possible to have a spawn point underwater, but don't know exact numbers. Source:- speaking from personal experience.

Pretty sure I have a seed like that saved...Started a world, set down my switch while it loaded, & oh I'm dead rofl. Turned out I spawned about 50 blocks from a witch hut at the bottom of the swamp 😆

I'm pretty sure the "lazy cheaters" are doing it for attention - not trying to hide anything, and instead being as blatant as they can.

The first one isn’t that funny to me, at least he tried to hide it. I am surprised he did that. Also props to the deep dark speed runner that used the people’s lack of knowledge of the city things and tried to use it to his advantage. Also he did a nice job on doing the cuts and hiding the Enderman spawner

2:14 The water with no blocks underneath is a Minecraft terrain generation glitch, and is perfectly normal, I've seen a few in my worlds.

Edit: They CAN appear in weaponsmith's(16.2% chance) and toolsmith's(9.9% chance) chests, though only 1-3 at a time

0:37 "Strange block placements" in lava pools are not a clear sign of it being tampered however not having stone around the lava is a clear sign of tampering. The run is already fake as we can see the potions in the brewing stand and the blaze powder meter being full.
0:53 Not jumping into the stables part of the bastion is perfectly fine as the runner could know the placement of the chests or be trying to collect a specific gold patch. This is not suspicious. Again the run is still fake due to a second portal being shown.
1:00 Correct, the amount of iron blocks is more than possible and the amount of obsidian is more than possible in a "generic" style chest. Also it is impossible to have ender pearls in a bastion chest
1:02 Although not mentioned a bucket of lava is not able to appear in a stables chest or in any bastion chest loot pool. Also too many gold blocks.
1:20 Indents like this one are not automatically considered odd until the seed is looked at to see if something has been altered.
1:34 There is a method to finding treasure chests using the entity part of the F3 screen however the world seems pretty generated to be able to justifiably use it, alongside the fact they don't use the method and simply dig down to it. As of 21w39a water breathing potions guaranteed spawn in treasure chests. The rest of the chest seems alright however could be altered.
1:42 Technically you can get around ˜30 iron in a chest like this but it's incredibly unlikely. Routing is a bit odd but not that out of the ordinary.
1:55 While multiple iron golems are technically possible it is impossible from the size of the village and that means they must have spawned them in. Them not attacking the runner means that they are either in peaceful or are made by them.
2:08 This is not world edit, however possible considering the sketchiness of the run already water does spawn this way naturally and has for a while now. It is a bug and one that could likely be being worked on. Similarly how you have path blocks under the farmland and logs.
2:16-2:17 There is splicing.
2:24 Not taking any bed is odd but still possible as piglins give string. Although "odd" it's still potentially normal behaviour.
2:43 Next run clearly uses wither a datapack or a mod so is not going to be reviewed
I'm not doing the rest they all have multiple issues.
Stone around lava is pretty normal

Also you can find Diamonds in a village just in blacksmiths and gun power too

2:05 This is actually a very common village generation glitch that I have personally seen quite often in villages generated on hilly terrain in my hardcore worlds, so it’s probably not from world edit.

I've seen one where the the water was flowing down from a mountain, and instead of flooding the crops it floated over them...

The farm with the floating water is possible to spawn in vanilla minecraft, although it is probably pretty rare, I’ve seen it before in my own world
This guy's gotten popular enough to have actual speedrun moderators give him a fake speedrun.
2:06 the floating water was not edited in, but its a bug from village generation when a farm spawns at the edge of a hill. Since after 1.14, villages no longer fill the blocks under them, the water ends up floating. If the runner updated a block there, the water would start flowing. Source: my experience in 1.14-1.17 villages. (My computer cant handle 1.18+)

6:25 my personal theory about why naturally lit portals cannot spawn is because the developers wanted the creation of a bridge between dimensions to be unstable, thus why the nether pours out from these portals. I think it was their way of suggesting that these portals are a tear in reality itself. This makes end portals and nether portals much more dangerous than they might initially seem

It’s rarer than a 12 eye end portal so yeah
Not going to happen only 2 of these have been found naturally you need a woodland mansion to even have this happen and fully completed ruined nether portal soo

When the speedrunner opens the chest, only gunpowder can be seen. But diamond suddenly appeared out of nowhere!

On 4:05 you see that the player conveniently has a empty bucket and when he reaches the ancient city he conveniently land on water which makes me believe that he placed that water and there are precisely four blocks around the water source.

I was able to find infested stone in a meadow biome before. Since they’re high elevation, I think they count towards mountain biomes.
They do, because emeralds can be found there. Windswept biomes are also mountainous
Plot twist: people like this CZcamsr are part of the Speedrun Community and find these speedruns and post them on CZcams to show the Speedrun moderators that they are fake.

These videos are all made by him and he is acting like they are legitimate speedrun attempts that people are faking.
He's made dozens of videos like this one and keeps doing it because it rakes in truckloads of views from children.
I've seen the glitch where water in a village farm doesn't flow down. That might not be something the player did, thats just a Minecraft issue.
How to lose Minecraft
Step 1: replace your end portal with a diamond frame

Tbh im not sure abt that, a couple of the runs including the one at 7:33 have different f3 menus, and if you look at some of his past videos, the f3 is totally different. And im 99% sure the epic dream minecraft speedrunning one isn't him, all of the channel's videos are private now but they were up when he talked about him in an older vid

0:51- I had my brightness down to very low, so it was extremely hard to see the nether portal until i turned my brightness up.

2:12 he actually didn't, in one of my 1.19 worlds a village spawned in a very odd place, and a farm was aboce a hole and the water stayed in place. it's just a world generation bug

I think that some of the these people who do these fake speed runs have actually put in the time and effort it takes to be one because I’m for sure not a speeder run when it comes to games I mostly take a long time to beat them because I’m either trying to complete a 100 % of the game or I just stop playing because that one level or boss just kept annoying me to the point I quit and try again later but respect to this guy who makes these videos to expose fakers

at 2:15 it is possible for that to normally happen sometimes the farms spawn with air under them and the water stays like that i’ve seen it a few times when finding a village it’s just a glitch
7:11 another clearly fake part of that speedrun is that when he spawned his camera was on an angle wich is impossible because you will always spawn with your camera facing straight forwards.

Also as for the guy with the infested stone... meadow biome is a type of mountain biome lol. There is no actual "Mountain" biome, only different types of mountain biomes, and meadow is one of them

No, the video is just wrong. Check the wiki, Meadows are a valid biome for them to generate in.

4:04 Something you forgot to mention is that the runner is literally running in the ancient city and if they keep running or make sound then the sensors would have picked that up and sends it to a screeched making the warden spawn and yet no warden?
Ancient City has wool blocks... At least on the area they landed. After that they started running somewhere without wool on the floor.
The warden takes an insanely long time to spawn, even if you're constantly making sounds.
