Hello, Ernst. I'm one of the many people grateful for your contributions. I know nothing about Zweelink, except that he was a Dutch composer who contributed mightily to the North German organ tradition or style. How is it that this is a lute transcription? There's so much difference in tone between the two! It certainly makes more sense to play this on the virginal than the lute; there's a lot more resonance. Thanks again.

Meerstemmig gaat prima in de tactus. Waarom eenstemmig dan niet? Met ademen van de zanger die zo wellicht de psalm zou zingen heeft dat in ieder geval niets te maken, zing het eens. Maar tellen zou helpen. :)

Ik bedoel het eenstemmige deel dat je voor de variatie speelt. Die melodie is alleen bedoeld voor zang. De variatie speel je veel minder vrij overigens zoals ik al eerder schreef.
