Vijay Mallya owns Sahara Force India Formula One team and hosts this awesome party each year onboard his yacht The Indian Empress right in the middle of the Monaco harbour. Drivers Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil were there as were celebrities like Jeremy Clarkson and Cliff Richard. The party took place on Thursday 23rd May 2013 ahead of the Monaco GP.
The F1 season has arrived in the Côte d'Azur for the Monaco Grand prix. The Circuit de Monaco winds around the streets of principality and along the harbour where the superyachts of the rich and famous provide the perfect grandstand for the race. Red Bull's Mark Webber won in a very tight finish last year, just holding off Mercedes' Nico Rosberg and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. This year, Mercedes AMG Petronas are likely to be very fast at the Monaco circuit with Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton already posting the fastest times during free practice.

Brilliant. This was the party this year 2013. I was actually at the party last year and it was great. What they don't show you is that they wheel on loads of porta loos on to the lower deck. Unless you're a billionaire or Clarkson (who goes every year) you have to queue like a peasant. And everyone has to take their shoes off so they don't ruin the deck wood. Also can I just point out that I am not rich or famous. I am however quite stunning. And it was a great night.

The Yact is worth 200 million Euro and its moored in Malta when not cruising. It is huge close up but if you look you will find the owner has had some financial problems. I love Yachts but i would not surround myself with false people. I would throw most of them overboard !
