- I do not know how many times I have been to Munnar, but each time , I have a different experience in this hill station. This time I was in the Tall Trees Resort with my family. It was raining, but the resort is settled in a a very soothing place with plenty of trees and other vegetation that grow higher from the foggy slopes. We enjoyed some of the most delicious recipes of Munnar from here and also strolled around the 66 acres of green land there. മൂന്നാർ എന്നത് നമ്മൾ മലയാളികളുടെ ഒരു അഭിമാനമാണ്. സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ തന്നെ ഏറ്റവും നല്ല ഹിൽസ്റ്റേഷനുകളിൽ ഒന്ന് എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കാവുന്ന, നീലക്കുറിഞ്ഞിക്കും വരയാടിനും മറ്റനേകം ജീവജാലങ്ങൾക്കും സ്വന്തം എന്ന് പറയാവുന്ന, ഇന്ത്യൻ തെയില തോട്ടങ്ങളിലെ സുന്ദരി എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കാവുന്ന മൂന്നാറിൽ ഞാനും എന്റെ കുടുംബവുമൊത്ത് ചിലവിട്ട രണ്ടു ദിവസങ്ങളിലെ ആദ്യ ദിവസം ആണ് ഈ വിഡിയോയിൽ.

My trip to Munnar with family was rain-soaked. But the disappointment of rains spoiling my outdoor shoots was compensated by the vast premises of the Tall Trees Resort, and their excellent food varieties.
The resort is a world in itself. True to its name, it is settled amidst tall trees. They have their own cardamom plantation too. A small stream, a cute little waterfall, trekking facilities, the resort has everything we need for a relaxed and pleasant stay for a day or two.

This is probably one of the best resorts I have ever seen ! With rain and fog, you have got the best timing to enjoy the start of the lovely fall season in that hill station ! The resort surrounded by the nature is absolutely marvelous ! Ideal hideaway for honeymooners ! We do have a few charming hill stations here in Tamil Nadu, but this one blows my mind away ! Great video ! I would love to see more hill stations of Kerala ! Finally, the viewers got the chance to see your family, say hello to your kids ! My face always lit up, when the postman delivered a postcard from an old friend ! Greetings from Madurai ( and Chicago ) !

That town again tht I once fled in despair n never went bk ! Tall Trees Resort looked a world of its own with its fancy skylight roof restaurant n all else. It intrigues me as to how these Resorts keep a full kitchen/menu running even during off Season with sparse guests, including the several activities and a Dessert tasting option too ? That was an impressive offering by local stds ( I hv great admiration for Pastry Chefs.. shld watch Vidoes on topnotch Chefs like Cedric Grolet..Pierre Hermr Dominique Ansel n others at work..it's incredible ! ) Bigg up to Varum for his table spread ( though he said it all rather imperfectly.. thats the travesty of Desserts..the French names !) And talking of Postcards n MailBoxes I still continue to hv this penchant for taking pics of PBoxes in my travels n Id hv tens n hundreds of pixs in my files, of these worldwide ! Its amazing to spot them in such varying shapes n forms ! Great vlog..despite the unforgiving SE Monsoons of Kerala. Cheers EJ !
